I have zone 1 set for inside for flush mount yamaha 8" ceiling speakers, and zone 2 for outside - also flush mount ceiling speakers. Party mode controls both zones simultaneously.

I could not have selected a better unit for the price range. Dual Zone Not much, except for only able to plug 2 channels into zone 2

Yamaha rx-773 packed with features – I bought this at a great price with a 5 year replacement warranty. I bought this to simplify our home theatre set up and it certainly has done just that. the Volume from my pool lounge. You need to hook up the receiver to your wirelrss router to do that and buy a wireless adaptor for the receiver. i was recommended s belkin unit, does the job and is much cheaper than the yamaha one. Not more I could wish for. AirPlay network capability ease of use dual zone
