Excellent – This was an excellent investment for us. Both of our children loved it and our 7 year old who was reading by 2 is in an advanced class doing year 3 4 and 5 work. HIGHLY Recommended. Our kids loved it. Fun and stimulating. Really works Would prefer an Aussie version however did not notice any ill effects of the Americanisms.

Wonderful and innovative way to teach reading to little ones – My baby loves this program, in fact she is obsessed with it. Been using it for 2 months now and she is already saying some words. My package from the TV promotion however did not include the GAME CARDS, WINDOW BOOK and SINGALONG CD. Be aware of this if you are considering the whole package. Better to buy direct from company. So I am searching for anyone willing to sell any of these items to me, as I would like the complete set, particularly the singalong CD. This would be perfect in the car for miss grumpy who doesnt like car travel. I would be happy even if someone could make a copy of it and I will pay for their time and postage costs. Hope someone can help!

Sharon Very creative and engaging Very expensive and the lift a flap books tear easily with little fingers using it.

I can't find a package which includes the game cards, window book and singalong CD either from external link  or external link

Is the Game Card or Window Book = sliding word cards?

OK – They do work. My little boy was reading and recognising words easily by 18mths. I didnt use any other assistance asides from reading to him. (No flash cards etc)He also found words not included in the series easy to learn. The footage itself is old fashioned and poor quality and some sections very American. I was hoping that since they promoted these discs in Australia they would have adapted the sound and spelling. My son stopped watching by 22mths so never developed an accent or spelling issues. I wanted to use for my next child but the discs have become so brittle after 12 months storage they break just lifting from the case and are expensive to replace by the time you pay for postage both ways and the disc. The initial outlay is also expensive in relation to disc quality. With a little effort these could be a very useful teaching aid. My little boy was reading and recognising words easily by 18mths. Could be used to 'Hot house' children. The series is very American with words like diaper and color. The footage is also poor quality (NTSC on old tvs so the colour is wrong unless you remember to set to PAL) not designed for HD TVs so is grainy.

DVDs are brittle and break easily
