Love this machine! Makes prepping wood for winter so easy. Machine worked flawlessly for days and didn’t go through much fuel at all. Hydraulic lift so handy for massive logs.

Yukon 12 tonne log splitter – I purchased the Yukon 12 tonne log splitter and am very happy with it. It will split all the types of hardwood I use with ease. It is very heavy and care must be taken when wheeling it around on sloping ground. The wheels should be spaced further apart for better stability.

Don't understand the negative reviews on here – So I have owned this splitter for about five years now, never had an issue with it. Splits pretty much anything including knotty hard wood. Not the fastest thing in the world but I can live with it. Very heavy, rear wheels need to be spaced further apart as it's unstable when wheeling it around.

Great machine – I bought this splitter because it was the most powerful electric log splitter I could find on the market and didn't want to go to a petrol powered unit. I saw a couple of very negative reviews about this tool on this site but everywhere else it seemed to be favourable so I thought I'd give it a go because at $900 odd dollars what did I have to… Read more

lose lol. It's certainly no toy weighing in at around 85kg and seems to be built quite robustly. I didn't like the method used to adjust the height but once done I'm leaving it in that position so no big deal. What I really like is that unlike many other comparable units, this one has a safety switch and one hand operation. Just switch it on and you can use the lever with either hand leaving your beer hand free for the important stuff. The first weekend I had it I split approx 2 ton of redgum logs and it did an amazing job. Only on the biggest and most dense pieces did it struggle or fail but that was probably exceeding its limitations so I can accept that. Overall it performed admirably on its maiden weekend of heavy usage and I guess only time will tell if it will continue to do so for years to come but at this stage I have no reason to think it won't.

Poor quality – I would steer clear of this splitter. The cutter sheared off the body after only 8 logs. Generally poor quality. I returned it to Klika and am trying to arrange a refund.

Poor Design not suitable for Australian timber – Unit failed just after 20-25 splits. Looks rugged but the main ramming shaft bent. Purchased from Klika. When I started a refund claim they ignored it, with no reply. I was lucky to have purchased it through one of their eBay shop fronts. Once eBay was involved due to their lack of response, they delayed further, asking irrelevant questions and… Read more

wanting further images or videos. I had already sent images and a very clear description of the fault. The splitter obviously had a Major Problem and was not fit for purpose. Steer clear of this product unless you only want to split Pinewood or other softwoods.
