Awesome guitar
I had made a review before, but I didn’t really know how to navigate this site. First of all! All naysayers that do negative blogs on other sites. For all the negative comments you’ve made. How can you prove it’s a Chinese built guitar? Some say a Sigma blank. I have several Chinese guitars that were hand built for me. Yes they are clones of high dollar Martins at a third of the price. Still sound awesome and would pit them against some of my older Martins. This guitar is different. Who cares where the materials come from? I have 20 plus high dollar guitars in my collection and this one is just as fine. It’s all the difference in the build. They are American and no others are built like it. Mr. Zager got it right.

Just received this guitar. The only Accoustic I had before was a 12 string purchased over 40 years ago.
The tone on this is deeper and fuller. I definitely will be playing this more than my older guitar

Excellent guitar for the money!!
I own A Zad-20. This is Zager’s entry level guitar but far from a beginners instrument. I have friends who own a similar quality Martin and Taylor. I like the way my Zagar feels in my hands far more than the Martin or Taylor, those guitars also cost almost twice as much. I am not a professional guitarist but the way the neck is designed on the Zager somehow allows me to make chords easier with less mistakes.
Actually a ZAD 20
As a begining guitar player in 2015, I choose the ZAD 20 based on what I had read. After receiving it and beginning to play it i discovered that everything that was said was true. Other guitars seemed difficult at best. Especially with 1/4 inch of my fretting hand middle finger missing from an accident. It has a great sound and the ease of play is fantastic. After 5 years, i would only trade it for another Zager. Period!

Love it!
My name is Roger and I have been playing the guitar since I as twelve years old. I have had all kinds of guitars. From Tel-star, Epiphone, Gibson, Martin, Lyle, Yamaha, Alvarez, Ibanez and others. I’m primarily a bluegrass player. I’m not a professional. I play mostly in church with a group. I’m not here to criticize any other guitar maker because there are some good ones available. I recently purchased a Zager guitar. To me personally this is one of the best, if not the best guitar, I have ever had in my hands. I love this guitar and

I did not receive a discount on my guitar for this review. This is just my honest review of my new guitar. My wife is the one who ordered the guitar and has communicated by email with the employees at Zager about shipping and arrival times, etc. The customer service is outstanding. Honestly hard to believe how quickly they respond to us. Buy Zager and you will not be disappointed!Really was easy to play.
I have had my Zager guitar for a number of years and it really is easy on my fingers. I don't have to struggle to hold down the strings, and that made playing fun for me. I originally just wanted to purchase a guitar from a Nebraska dealer, but this was such a pleasant surprise of quality.

I’m almost 70, with mildly arthritic hands, and some trepidation about taking on guitar so late. My ZAD20 lives up to the “Easy Play” claim, and I’m feeling more confident each week. It’s also a beautiful instrument, which adds to the enjoyment of playing. The craftsmanship is amazing! I In addition, their customer service is fantastic. They return messages promptly, and go out of their way to ensure that every aspect of your Zager experience is a positive one. With the extensive “Zager Learning Library” to help guide me, I look forward to years of enjoyment with my new Zager guitar.

I had a friend who had a Zager acoustic. He bought it used and one day I was over at his house, he handed it to me and said, "try this." I could not believe how easy it was to play. I started doing a little research on Zager. One day while on the Zager Website a deal popped up that I could not refuse. I bought the ZAD20E. It is an excellent guitar. I play it all the time. It is well built and easy to play. I am very happy with it. Also the customer service is great. I broke the saddle and sent an email saying I needed another one. They requested a photo of the broke saddle. Once received they immediately sent me a new one at no cost to me. You can't beat that kind of service. You want be disappointed if you get a Zager.
Zager ZAD20 Acoustic Guitar
I am brand new to the guitar. I decided being home due to pandemic would be a good time to try my hand. I decided to invest in a quality instrument to give me the best chance to succeed. I decided on Zager guitars after reading about their EZ play guitars I had a couple of questions after I put in my order and received a quick and friendly reply each time. When my guitar arrived my first thought when I opened the case was how beautiful the guitar looked. Then when I first strummed the strings I was struck at how rich the sound was even to my u

Zager included some extras for the wait including access to their lesson library. I had planned to purchase access and even though I have just barely started feel it would be worth the extra investment. Everything you need in one place and Denny goes at a slow enough pace even for a newbie like me. Very happy with my purchase and service. Casey w.Find out how Zager ZAD-20E compares to other Products

I'm a Zager Fan, My ZAD-20E is Awesome!
Love my Zager ZAD-20E... I'm a newbie to the guitar crowd, and had bought my first guitar about 18 months without really knowing what to get. My first purchase was a hybrid acoustic/electric. Beautiful Ibanez guitar, but not much in sound quality for the price. Now that I have a few chord shapes and strumming patterns under my belt and a solid set of callouses on my finger tips , I was ready for something that had a bigger sound without needing an amp. Been looking for the past month or so and was starting to think a used entry level Martin was

I came across Zager Guitars while hunting online but was a bit skeptical of buying something I could not try first. But then I came across an absolutely beautiful used Zager ZAD20-E, all Mahogany Dreadnought in a local store. These are a rare find as a used guitar in a small town store, and I think I know why. For one thing, Zager only sells direct to the public which is why they are so affordable compared to Taylor and Martins. Secondly, Zagers are such a great value and beautiful guitar, that owners don't want to give them up for anything. By this point I had picked up and played dozens of guitars but hadn't found anything that I could afford that felt like it was a value for the price tag. This ZAD20-E change that. It is awesome! Beautifully crafted, extremely playable, and a full body sound that blows away anything else that I tried up to 3x's the price. More than just the guitar, the Zager experience that Dennis Jr. and his dad provide is spot on and exactly matches up to what dozens of reviews I read say about their character and customer service. I have had half a dozen emails back and forth with Dennis for advice on a guitar that I didn't even buy from him. I love my ZAD-20E, but will not hesitate to buy my next one directly from them when I am ready to trade up again. The ZAD-80 is looking really great as my next one.Questions & Answers
