Hi folks, I own a Samsung Galaxy S9 plus which I'm paying off on a 24 month contract so I'm treating it like gold. I shrouded it in a heavy duty aluminium case, now it has a width of almost 10cm. So my question is, how wide do the Jaws holding the device open up to? Will it accept my phone + case?

I don't think S9 plus with the case on would fit into the clamp. And even the weight of phone alone would be a little hard to balance. I use Smooth 4 with my old S8 (no case), and they work really well together. I don't have to worry about incoming call or messages while I'm shooting either.
