Standby Feature on all creative Products – Guys - Stay away from Creative Completely. They have their speakers turn on standby after 10 minutes of inactivity. This is not advertised in anyway before hand. I have spent alot of money on their speakers and I feel as though they should be letting people know of this limiting feature before they buy the product. I think they are hoping to… Read more

save the world from global warming by putting everyone's speakers into standby. Sarah from Creative has been very unhelpful and I feel as though factor would have swayed my decision in buying their speakers.

Quite a bit of wow factor – Not exactly up to super-duper primo audiophile quality and sometimes there is a bit of a weird disconnection between the bass and the rest of the music but 95 times out of 100 they are just totally outstanding with good volume, great bass - these have certainly made listening to Lee Perry, the Heptones and the Gladiators a joy I can experience once again. TLDR: For the price these are really great speakers.

50 Buck Speakers for the Win – I bought these speakers with a bit of caution as I didn't want to spend heaps, but also didn't want crappy sound. The Creative T10 were so cheap i was a little concerned that they would sound awful but after plugging them in and putting some tunes on I was extremely happy with my $50 gamble. Terrific sound output power and quality and great bass… Read more

from these speakers. I haven't compared them to a similar speaker from Logitech but I would be surprised if these could be beat considering the price point.

Good sound at a great price – Needing to replace my previous speakers, but not wanting to outlay too much for desktop PC speakers, which would be used mainly for background music, home video editing, Skyping and YouTube, I eventually settled on the Creative T10s, a decision governed largely by Creative's good reputation, and price. For under $40, I was not expecting too… Read more

much, but...so far I have been very pleasantly surprised at their performance. When I lifted the box off the shelf at the shop, the first thing I noticed was the weight - it was heavier than I expected for a box which is a little smaller than a shoebox. Opening the box revealed two well-packaged speakers - elegant in black, with a shiny front panel and a matte body. The T10s are (in my opinion) very attractive looking loudspeakers. The build quality is good too.

After connecting them up (a 240V adaptor is supplied, as are the necessary audio cables) I listened to a few of my favourite mp3 tracks to check out the sound quality. Debbie Harry's voice was lovely and clear on Blondie's Rapture, while the heavy bass of Depeche Mode's Lilian was well handled. The 1980s electro-pop sounds of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Relax sounded fine on the T10s, but they struggled to control the bass on Chris Isaak's Wicked Game.

Switching from mp3 to CD, Talk Talks's Such a shame was well rendered, with reasonable stereo imaging and adequate bass.

The midrange is not perfectly defined on more complex tracks, and they will distort if the volume is turned up too high. However this is understandable given that they are not hi-fi loudspeakers. They also don't have the booming bass that many people like, however their all round performance is very good indeed, especially given the price. I'm completely satisfied with my choice. Great value
