Been a pretty good dryer for a good long while – Been a pretty good dryer overall, however does tangle the sheets and is a pain with the start button pressing process. Was working a treat to till it started making a banging noise on every rotation. My issue isn't the age of the product, its the fact that to get help I need to call - get with the times Bosch, online support! Sheesh. Having to find the time through the day to phone just doesn't happen and thinking I'll just buy a new one...

Amazing Dryer – We have t girls so need a reliable dryer. Have owned this for 4 years and has worked flawlessly. Easy to clean after each cycle and just keeps going. If you can buy one you won't regret it. Show details ·  1

Bosch have let them team down – The its either over drys or under drys. The start button will make you want to kill yourself, you have to press like 6 times to get it to work. Dont buy look else where, bosch have been good to me in the past will look for a different brand next time  Show details

This is perfect, can't live without it – We bought this condenser dryer ( collects the water in the internal container so the humidity doesn't go into the air), about 9 years ago. Still working perfectly, it's 2 star rating in consumption but I use it anyways. The only problem I ever had was that I needed to replaced the lint filter which I did find in the Internet through:… Read more ·  1

nationwidespares.com.au (product #: 652184BO). I don't understand why this dryer has been discontinued since is so good! I hope mine lasts for ever, unless they have a better one for sale I'd like to be able to replace mine one day with the same type. it's so easy to use! The dryer alerts you when emptying the water is needed, the dryer tells when the filter needs cleaning etc. It gives you little messages when you need to do something to it. I will really miss my 'friend when it passes away'.

Bosch - German for Crap? – Worst dryer I have ever owned and NOT cheap either. Constantly have to restart it. You have to check it every time it stops to see if clothes are actually dry. Now the water level indicator stays on with an empty container. Will NEVER buy anything Bosch ever again. It' a shocker !!!  Show details

Very disappointed! – Worst dryer ever! Bought my 1st one almost 5 years ago and it was faulty .... lucky it didn't burn my house down, it just continually ran and wouldn't stop! Thankfully Harvey Norman replaced it with a brand new one of the same model but it has also been a very dissapointing product. Door handle broke off, always stopping with false alarms for… Read more

the water tray when it's empty, tangles clothes, and forever stopping mid cycle. This one has just died now too. Won't condense and gets very very hot! Sorry Bosch ... but for the price I paid and the amount of trouble this model has given me ... I won't buy Bosch products ever again.

The WORST appliance that I have ever owned! – Wish I had read the reviews before buying but had always believed Bosch to be a reputable brand. Related to wet clothes scenario and clean filter scenario and tangled sheets scenario....thought I was doing something wrong but now understand that it is Bosch that is doing something wrong! This dryer was the most expensive mistake ever!  Show details

Dryer keeps turning off – This is the worst dryer I've ever owned. It will run for a minute or two and then turn off with the container light coming on even though the container is empty. It started doing this not long after I bought it. I've cleaned the filter and not sure what else to do.  Show details

Tangles very well – This dryer was purchased along with a washer which we also reviewed. As a dryer it does not dry very well but is very impressive in the way it can tangle clothes up into a ball so the outside gets dry while the inside of the ball is still wet. This occurs especially if a fitted sheet is in the dryer so that it can catch everything else, truly… Read more

amazing.

On finding a leak at the rear of the dryer we unscrewed the back panel to find the hot air duct contained water.

We emailed Bosch on 2 occasions asking how on earth water could get into the air duct. No reply has been

received. We are in our 70's and realize the machine is 7 year old, but have had far cheaper brands last far longer.

We would not recommend Bosch to anyone.

Shocking Machine – Keeps stopping with container light on but is plumbed directly to sink - checked all hoses and fittings, all ok. Brought to match front loader in new house - intend to change brands and get something more reliable. A product like this should not have these types of problems, particularly after reading through all the other reviews!!  Show details

The rain would dry my clothes faster – I don't think it has ever dried a piece of clothing, I wish it would do something but unfortunately I always end up with clothes just as wet as when they went in. Even though I put it though ten cycles.. Agree with all of the other reviews DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Burn your cash instead! – By far THE WORST PURCHASE OF MY LIFE! This dryer is, and always has been a massive hunk of junk. Does not dry clothes. It's not even good enough for landfill! I wish I had read the reviews, my own fault really! Didn't think it could possibly be this terrible.

Disgusted! – Bought this dryer 8 months ago and I hate it. It keeps cutting out before the clothes are dry. Have to reset at least 3 times. Had a Bosch dryer for 14 years which was great. Rang Bosch today and no satisfaction. They said that if a repair person comes out and decides that it is just the way the dryer operates then I have to pay for the call-out. … Read more

Dont buy one of these even if you find one very cheap and second hand! – These have been discontinued since we bought ours 3 years ago and I can see why. It doesnt do what it is supposed to i.e dry clothes, sheets or towels. They all come out damp no matter what setting I try. I've looked for a manual on-line to see whether I am doing anything wrong but cant find one. All very frustrasting and I'm about to dump ours.… Read more

That you can use it without an external vent - thats why we bought it. It doesnt dry clothes, sheets or towels fully.

Doesnt Dry Well Enough – I have recently purchased this dryer after always having just a standard Hoover dryer. I cant seem to get anything dry enough no matter which settings I use, and believe me I have tried them all. Is there a secret to using it as it was more expensive than a standard dryer and must cost a fortune to run as it takes hours for anything to dry. Any suggestions?? No condensation Doesnt dry well enough

Cant get clothes dry enough! – I've just moved to a house with a Bosch Maxx 7 sensitive dryer already here. Despite trying every setting combination I just can't get my clothes bone dry - always have damp spots. Unfortunately I sold my trusty F & P dryer which did the job perfectly before I moved... Any suggestions welcome! Can't get clothes truly bone dry

This product is awful. Almost as bad as the "service" – Never worked well. Then ceased to work for more than one minute at a time. At this stage, still waiting for the third visit from a technician, but have accepted that a rubbish remover is the best option now. It's only three months old. Free to a good home?? I'd be happy to get it out of my house. Everything. Expensive, hopeless, no customer service, ignored phone calls and emails.....literally everything.

Excellent – I had to order the drain kit which annoys me as my 2 previous condenser dryers (Miele and Bendix) came as standard. It's more noisy than I am used to but has great options. It really dries well. The sensor programs all seem to work and I have no complaints. For those who are having trouble, it is a completely different mindset for a condenser… Read more

dryer. Give it time to get used to it. I can remember 17 years ago being horrified by opening mid cycle to find a steamy mess! I can't stand using my mums top loader washing machine or standard dryer now - they crease everything and don't get me started on pilling!! Doesn't steam up the house.

Dries well. Bit noisy. Doesn't come with drain kit as standard.

Good – It does its job well. IF the machine is too noisy place some rubber under the hard feet (cut up a thong etc) once you have it leveled. Works well when you select the right setting. Is reasonably quiet. Cant be wall mounted. Have to empty the tank after every use, so should come with a over flow draining kit etc ISnopisy when placed directly onto a hard floor.

Terrible – Maybe I'm using this wrong (no real user manual available) but even a single sheet ends up in a wet tight ball and won't dry. If you put a few items into the dryer it balls up and thus stops the drying. It takes forever to dry a whole load which will be what I want to do during winter. Not happy though I found many good reviews before I bought it. Condenser function Takes ages to dry anything

Good – This is my first experience with a condenser dryer, so I'm still getting the hang of it - the drying action is quite different. If I take something out mid-dry, it will still be quite damp, but incredibly hot and steamy (in the old vented dryer, things would be half-dry and not as hot at the same stage). If I put a full load in, the larger and… Read more

heavier items (especially denim jeans) will come out fairly creased. Also, the sheets get completely twisted up. I'm trying out the low heat option to see if it makes a difference to the creasing. I like the cupboard-dry option: the clothes come out just a tad damp, and dry by the time you've folded them. This is good for all type of cotton-blend shirts. The sides of the machine can get quite hot to the touch! It's nice for the heating in winter. We will probably use the machine much less in summer, so hopefully won't be a problem. Overall, I haven't noticed heaps of performance difference from the old 4.5kg Simpson. I hope its lower energy usage makes it worthwhile... It's a good machine, but $1350 good? Time will tell - hope to get 20 years out of this machine! No steamy, linty output. Can twist up sheets, can wrinkle heavier items
