Evaporative coolers are great but only ones by Convair - Seeley – I have had bad experiences with coolers which do next to nothing, comments stating that evaporative coolers cannot cool a room are untrue, BUT the answer is don't buy any cheap rubbish coolers made in China or anywhere else overseas, evap coolers made by Seeley Convair are AWESOME and they really do a fantastic job of cooling a room on a hot day and help you sleep on hot nights. But it really annoys me that very few retailers stock the coolers made by Convair - these products are AUSTRALIAN for heaven's sake,why do you guys not stock them!! I often see the Magicool which is a good product but prefer the larger models of the Megacool and Millenia but it is almost impossible to find these coolers in any of the stores like Good Guys, Harvey Norman etc, WHY!?? Very annoying!! They really are fantastic coolers and are not too expensive either. Those really cheap ones from overseas are not made in the same manner whatsoever as how the Convair ones are made - the design is completely different. Aussie sellers PLEASE stock more of the Convair Seeley range of coolers because they are the real deal and they really do work and are so well made, nothing compares!!

Perfectly good for an Evaporative Cooler – There is nothing wrong with this unit except that it is not actually an air-conditioner so it doesn't provide relief in really hot weather. I actually find it more beneficial from the pint of putting some moisture in the air when things get very dry. But for getting things really cool on hot days I went and bought a portable air-con for about $700 instead.

Waste of money..please don't buy it – I bought this unit on 26th of dec2012 from good guys belmont. Its so terrible it doesnt blow any cold air at all. I have put 2 ice block in water but still same..if somebody desperatly want to buy i will sale mine half price... :-( i am very disappointed with product and i dont think anybody will be happy No cool air..not worth to buy it at all
