Excellent fridge, with rubbish ice maker – Per the title, this is an excellent large capacity fridge that fits smaller spaces. The ice maker is absolute rubbish, in 3yrs weve probably had ice for 12 months, and 3 ice making assemblies later at over $200 each, I've given up on trying to make ice. Show details

Absolute cheap disposable rubbish – I bought this fridge and had two main issues with the 1. water dripper / ice maker and 2. spare parts. Electrolux fixed issue no 1 but after 10 years, the door plastic drink container shelf and the crisper facia have broken and they have stopped making parts. The fridge works well but the shelving is breaking around this fridge - a real sledge for any brand loyalty. What Electrolux have ensured is that when I do replace this fridge, it will not be with this brand.

This is crazy of the company who tries to instil any brand loyalty.

Electrolux does not stand behind their inferior products - Report to a Regulatory Agency! – I just threw away $100 in food last night - meats that were so frozen they're ruined. The freezer keeps frosting over and I am just sick of the process of emptying everything- cleaning it out & starting over - since day 1! The ice makers do not work - both top and bottom. I am so irritated that I have to use ice trays when I am paid alot of money… Read more

for this refrigerator. I would recommend to all to avoid EVER buying Electrolux anything! They do not stand behind their products. After at least a half dozen visits if not more about this freezer frosting over, you would think that they would replace my refrigerator already - it clearly was defective from the get go. And all the extra padding and seals does not keep both the refrigerator and freezer from freezing over. I have plenty of photos. This should not be happening. They would rather cause great upset and have me ruin my food over and over so now, I will go online everywhere I can to make sure people know that they do not stand behind their products and that they sell inferior products. I am calling corporate today and sending a certified letter. If they do not help me, I am taking them to court as this is an ongoing issue from day 1 and well documented with photos and observations from the repairmen.

Love this fridge – This has to be the best new appliance in our Renovated kitchen. I was worried when I read the reviews and contacted Electrolux to quiz them. They reassured me that I wouldn't have anything to worry about and went ahead with the purchase. It has huge amount of space inside for 800 wide and deep. The doors really need you to push them close or… Read more

they beep, which is good, so you know. But with everything else self closing you forget sometimes. its easy to clean looks slick.

The ice maker has huge Always full tray all the time. It can be clumsy to get the ice out of the tray into a few glasses at a time. Bending down low. The water dispenser is perfect. If you like ice in your drinks there's always plenty and it makes new ice very quickly. The freezer section is small for family use. But we have a second fridge. I use it to store bread and ice cream.

The electronic control panel is a bit hard to use. Some how I turned the fridge into sabbath mode without realising trying to turn off the ice maker. It took 2 men over 2 beers and and an online search to figure out what I'd done. But it was summer and I was worried with the heat losing the food. So I don't touch the controls anymore.

Well worth purchasing – I purchased this refrigerator in mid-December 2015. Am very happy with it. It operates quietly and in fact I often wonder whether it is in fact operating. The only audible sound is a slight click when it turns off but other than that there is no noise whatsoever. My refrigerator door close properly - they do not self close but if the doors… Read more

are left open for more than 3 minutes there is a definite beeping to remind one to close the doors.

The freezer has more than sufficient storage in the two compartments - ice cube tray is easy to use.

The shelves are well laid out - twin crispers for vegetables are a real bonus - I keep "hard vegetables" in one and "soft" things like lettuce, cucumber, capsicum, etc. in the other. The other feature which I like are the two separate drawers for deli meats. I keep raw products in one and cooked deli items in the other.

Cleaning of the glass shelves is not difficult - small spills are easily wiped clean and the shelves slide out easily.

Dairy compartments on both doors is also great.

This is a well designed refrigerator - looks good on the inside as well as on the outside.

Great fridge – Had this fridge for 8 months now Great fridge. Very happy.Easy to self install. Love the plumbed in water and ice. Too many features to mention, with and easy to use controll panel just inside door. You do need to replace the filter every 6 months And that will cost about $60-$90 depending where you buy the filter. Can be loud when making ice.  Show details

Perfect fridge for the little room we had! – Great looking fridge inside and out, nice and roomy with plenty of ice available all of the time. The only negative is that the doors are slightly off centre, but this does not affect the performance of the fridge. Stainless steel design is so easy to keep clean. Water through the door is cold enough for those hot summer days.  Show details

Hate the fridge EHE5107SA – Purchased around 5 years. Poorly made item, the drawers become brittle and crack, the freezer drawer fronts come off and hard to get back on. But the worst thing is the incessant screeching. The freezer alarm goes off normally during the night, it is supposed to be touch sensitive to turn off but often doesn't work. family member waking up and trying to turn off the incessant squawking. Lost so much sleep. Utterly despise the fridge as much as it is possible to hate an inanimate object - Emailed Electrolux but they couldn't be bothered to reply. cools well but doors are a prob – The cooling and freezing functions are good; the inside space is well designed, we can fit heaps. However the doors do not close unless you do it deliberately and double check every time to make sure they are sealed. The beep to alert that doors are not closed only works sometimes.  Show details

Tinny! – This is a relatively expensive fridge, but feels cheap. The freezer gasket has gone after 18 months and the doors never have shut well. Thank god it beeps, otherwise you wouldn't know. Pleased with purchase so far – Had this fridge for just over a year in our new house and I'm happy with our choice. Ice drawer continually drops out!!! – Faulty design for which electrolux won't take responsibility for....we've had 3 tech visits! Useless. ACCC and Choice both state that if product does not meet reasonable standards Not acceptable quality Not fit for purpose Its deemed a major failure and defect We will be pursuing further but I do not recommend this fridge and I'd be very careful about their other models if the ice drawer component is the same design.  Show details

Lemon - Ice Maker – Purchased this fridge in October 2016. Had 2 lots of ice (1st lot of ice emptied as per booklet!) and we enjoyed the second lot. Christmas/New Year period to approach Harvey Norman (HN) about the issues.

HN contacted Electrolux who sent a local tradesman to inspect the unit. He complied with Electrolux instructions over the phone and removed a plug. Electrolux claims that the plug was damaged before the tradesman removed it and as such have refused to accept any responsibility for the ice making failure of the fridge, stating that we have damaged the fridge by removing a non-removable cover (untrue).

We purchased this fridge in good faith from a national retailer and are being accused by Electrolux of damaging it in order for Electrolux to avoid any liability.

On my first phone conversation with Electrolux I stated that I was under the impression Electrolux were attempting to avoid any warranty work on the fridge and was assured that was not the case.. I have so far been proven correct.

quality of components. Internal liner at door platform has split due apparently to an object falling from a shelf. Given no calamity, I expect normal usage to wear better than this. Further, the base of one door basket has cracked. This is my milk storage shelf so beats me how milk containers can crack the tray base. Electrolux are adamant that their quality control is above reproach. I will not buy another Electrolux refrigerator. Per other reviews, we also have foods freezing if situated to rear of shelves and have ice cubes freezing into one block. Do Not Buy! First Time Buying Electrolux Fridge And Never Buy Again – I also had same problem with the doors which requires a forceful push to close. Bad customer service will not listen to the simple logic of my complaint – Bought this fridge as I had a similar one (no water dispenser, still french doors), called out a technician to fix it, but fridge is still the same. is what I'm going off, but the lady on the phone said its normal for french doors to be like this. Obviously not when my old fridge does not have this problems. The fridge is only a few months old too, she said I will get charged another fee for a technician to come out.

I think the door, or door hinges are faulty and need to be replaced. The blamed that my flooring was uneven but I disagree, I would have not bought this fridge if it had this problem, the display models did not have this problem and a door opening and closing properly is the first thing a consumer looks at when buying a new fridge.

What was most irritating was the lady will not listen to what I'm trying to tell her, she was just looking for other things to blame like how I have to close it properly or the floor is uneven, but never even took in consideration what I was trying to tell her.

Originally loved it, but build quality is woeful – I've had to come back and redo this review, from 4 starts to 2. Although it looks great and it certainly keeps everything cold, the build quality is horrible.
