Reliable and energy efficient – This fridge is still going strong after 6 years. I would buy another electrolux when I am looking to upsize as the energy efficiency is still a strong selling point. It's a personal preference, but I wouldn't buy the a top freezer model again - it is way too small and compared to my in-laws who have a similar model electrolux but with a bottom freezer, it is way less functional.  Show details

Pretty average to be honest. Works okay but quality questionable – I bought Electrolux as I wanted to support an Australian made fridge even though price was at a premium to other brands. As a fridge/freezer it works fine but build quality hasn't been all that good. At 12 months old I had to have the stainless steel doors replaced under warranty due to rust despite following correct cleaning instructions. Since… Read more

that time the freezer section always gets ice on the leading edge of the roof despite being frost free. Now I have 15 cracks in the freezer liner (base section). The fridge has never been moved and temperature settings have always remained on middle ones so extremely disappointing to have all this cracking appearing. For a product that was not cheap I expected better and don't know if I would buy an Electrolux product again.

Great Fridge – 4 **** 356 kWh per year did a lot of research buying this fridge not many 4 star fridges about very happy with it Cut $s off my electricity bill cannot fault it will buy same brand again. It is one of the most expensive appliances in the house hold more stars the better.

Good buy, quiet, energy efficient – We chose the this Electrolux model mainly because of the good energy rating and low power consumption for the price as compared to other models. It is quite quiet and has been keeping our food fresh and cold for the past week since purchasing it. My only issue with it is I find it a bit smaller to what we were using before, which was a fisher… Read more

and paykel 440L. That's not the fault of the fridge though since we should have tried to look at the actual model at the shops to compare. I was very happy to get a free upgrade to the new etm4200sdrh model from e&s trading since the scrh models are now discontinued (don't find them on the main electrolux website anymore). All in all a good fridge though if we ever replace it, I am going to go another size bigger, provided it fits into the kitchen space. Energy efficient and good price compared to similar size fridges

Great Fridge – I have had this fridge now for 5 months and can say that i am happy with its performance. It replaced a fridge that was 43 years old. Had to go as it was rusting out but it never missed a beat. So buying a fridge was a hard decision as I had not bought one before. The last one was a hand me down. I was concerned about it not being cold enough… Read more

as i had read some reviews online and known people with other fridges that have had that problem. But I am happy to say that this fridge is great, it keeps things cold, certainly no problems in that area at all.

The ice maker in the freezer is great and once you have mastered it you will use it regularly. Keeps things cold and extremely energy efficient Nothing

Excellent Fridge – 420L Electrolux Fridge ETM4200SCRH The fridge is excellent and looks great. The sliding drawers are fantastic because they don't "fall" out. They are well supported. I can't figure out this metal "bottle" holder that comes with it - you lie the bottles flat on it somehow so they don't roll around. Anyway, we don't use that. I had read… Read more

the review about the fridge not being cold enough and was a bit worried when I purchased it. But, I haven't found that to be an issue. It's cold enough for our food - and we don't have it on the highest setting.

The only thing that I had an issue with is the lid on the butter compartment. I keep knocking it out of its socket. But, it's easy enough to put back.

The freezer size is perfect for two people.

I would buy this fridge again. Looks great, energy efficient, keeps food cold, great size for an apartment. Butter compartment lid keeps falling off.

Great Fridge – Really happy with this fridge. I had bought a new Westinghouse that replaced my 30 year old fridge, which was really noisy in my tiled apartment, and could not sleep; so I sent that back and replaced with this Electrolux. The guys at appliancesonline were helpful by changing over with no fuss. Sleek, ice cube trays The occasional dripping sound of condensate into drip tray.

Good fridge – We purchased this fridge due to its high energy efficiency, and its a great model. Electrolux are very proactive in their design of fridges and we wanted to support the brand. We have had it for about 1.5 years now and it has been great, frost free freezer, glass shelving, roomy fridge door compartments. No issues at all with keeping groceries fresh. easy clean stainless steel energy efficient

Energy efficient and works well – This Electrolux product is a sturdily designed fridge made in Australia and one of the first to achieve 4.5 stars for energy efficiency in the new rating system. I have been monitoring mine for a week and it is using an average of 0.5 kWh per day, about 1/3 of my previous energy efficient fridge. (In many households the fridge is the biggest… Read more

consumer of electricity.)

I have installed a thermometer in the top and bottom compartments and the standard mid-point settings from the factory gave perfect temperatures of 4 and -18 degrees in the fridge and freezer respectively.

I like the enclosed ice compartment that stores ice in a way that prevents evaporation (which would otherwise condense on the chiller coils and increases energy consumption). This fridge proves that a "simple" mechanical fridge can work really well. It is not full of "high tech" flotsam that just adds to complexity and compounds the number of failure mechanisms.

I like pretty much everything about it. I used to sell fridges once, so I am fairly fussy. Simple design, well executed, sturdy and efficient - cheap to run. 0

Bad – I can live with all the above however the real set back is it's not cold enough. I turn it to almost maximum for both compartments and it is still not as cold as the old fridge which was set at mid level. I wish I had bought the Kelvinator which had a lot of positive comments. It looks good. Stainless steel and safety glass shelves. Modern and… Read more

stylish looking for my new kitchen. Match my new oven and microwave. It is large compare to my old fridge (Kelvinator 330L) but it doesn't seem to have enough space. I had to take 1 shelf from the door out to fit in everything that were coming from the old fridge. The plastic circle to keep bottle upright doesn't fit the champagne bottle. It also doesn't seem to seal very well comparing to the old fridge.
