Woolworths Everyday Rewards

I rang up about points not being added to my everyday rewards card. I purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner at the time. Spoke to a lovely person by the name of Claudia. It was worth being a bit patient and waiting on the phone while she checked it out. She came back and said they have been added. What great service! Thankyou heaps Claudia.
They offer promo rewards for insurance and then don't give reward. Code BF12K or CAR12K Disappointing that they don't give the rewards to every everyday rewards member who takes out insurance with them. I did receive the 10% off on 1 shop each month, but still feel disappointed
If I could give a zero, I would. After two weeks, there is no sign of the tv I bought through the Rewards Marketplace. NOBODY is at all helpful, passing me off to the Rewards team, the transport managing team, the warehouse team, the actual despatch team and the actual seller of the item. Don't waste you time with any of the Woolworths Rewards Marketplace items: you'll still be waiting forever.

Compromised personal information? – The program and the app have been great until recently. For me to accept any offers or to open the app, I now need to be signed in to Google Play Store. If not signed in, then the app won't open and just directs me to sign in to play store. I don't wish to be signed in to a 3rd party data collecting, tracking app unless I CHOOSE TO. Everyday rewards told me "that's how it is" Show details
Not honoring promotions – Always participated in all promotions and always buying alcohol in online orders, just in the last 3 weeks I had to call 2 times to get my points credited.. in one of those calls I was told that alcohol purchases can’t be included but they don’t say that clearly anywhere like it’s done with tobacco. Not even in the small letters FAQ in the… Read more
website. Unfortunately I lost trust in woolies and won’t be shopping there so often as I always did.(over $600,00 a month)
Agreed to pay for the Rewards Boost to get extra points and discounts - BAD DECISION – I've been a member of the normal everyday rewards for a few years and was happy enough with the scheme. A few months ago I opted into pay an annual amount of $59. Not only have they now announced it will go up in cost but yesterday I tried to do my big monthly shop only to have a trolley full of food total of around $460 to be told they had an… Read more
outage and all my time and effort was wasted, I was offered no apologies at the store and couldn't even ring customer service when I stayed on for over an hour they had a recording to advise they were 'experiencing larger than usual call volume and would be with me as soon as they were able'. I bet they were experiencing an avalanche of unhappy customers and again today (day after I rang and got the same message over and over). To add insult to injury I heard their on hold music rotating and not a human voice. I will be reconsidering the value of my invested $59 even though it's not a lot of money they are not able to keep their end of the deal by the look of things and you have no recourse as a member they don't even have a means of venting online.

Everyday Rewards Amazing – Loving the Everyday rewards, not only do I no longer require a physical card, but I get asked immediately as I pay if I would like to apply any available rewards money to the purchase. Fuel dockets are all applied to my membership, no paper dockets required and when I scan at the petrol station it takes the earliest expiry docket, retaining the… Read more
others. And again, if there's money available in my loyalty card I get asked if I want to use it or not, no need for me to check or go into my account and apply the points to petrol or Woolworths shopping, etc. Talk about making it easy for members!
I also find petrol at a Woolworth's station is much cheaper than competitors and they advertise their before discount price (and clearly state it on the board), so I know what I'm comparing and know that I will get a further discount, which makes me an even happier customer.
Everyday Extra Rewards – I've done the Everyday Rewards (the free one) for years and every now and then it saves me $10. But, recently I read an article about saving money and Everyday Extra was mentioned. After putting it off for a couple of months (and wasting money by doing so), I finally signed up for the 30 day free trial yesterday, did a shop today which came to… Read more
$352 - I used today's shop to get my 10% discount, which saved me $35! That's more than half of the yearly subscription fee of $59! I do a shop like that every fortnight or so, so for the 10 months once the subscription's paid off, I'll be about $350 better off - and I get 3 points per purchase rather than the normal 1, so I'll get that $10 off more often. I'm not sure why more people don't know about this, but it's fantastic! Coles might have better rewards deals, I wouldn't know. But I'll always shop at Woolies - they're fresh produce is way better.
Oh! And the deal works for Big W too!
Good but: – I've been using Woolworths rewards ever since it started, then it was just average. It has improved over time. Now with added BOOSTERS one might have to pay full price for an item but in the end it is worth it. Here's an example, Woolies has a brand of coffee, with the added booster I may pay $11.50 and I'll receive 250 points. As a rule I would… Read more
have to had spent $250, $1 = 1 point. Now there is a BUT: you have to keep an eye on those booster points, I have never received some. It takes upto 5 days for those booster points to be added to your card. I have actually had to contact them for "missing points" it was a challenge but in the end it worked out and I did receive those missing points. Overall it's money in the bank, arr card. You don't have to use the $10 on your next shop, save your points you can accumulate over $4,000 before you loose it. But do remember it's $1 for one point, ever 2000 points you receive $10 added to the card.. That's it

My points will show up one day then disappear two days later. I have been banking my points for Christmas an now all gone doesnt show any transaction of where they have gone. Tried calling the call centre to just be on hold for upto an hour or longer at times before someone even answers for the call to cut out. Can't see the recent activity… Read more
history on my account only shows from a mth ago. I can activate the bonuses for them to state "activated" but NEVER receive the bonus points when purchasing the products even check point a week later to see NO bonus points added. WORST rewards ever. Use to be great but over the years it's really gone downhill alot.
The catch is in the detail. Received a notification that if you spend x amount of $$ you will receive bonus points. The detail from Woolworths I've reviewed your enquiry regarding our boost offers. To be eligible for any of our boost offers, they must be boosted at least 2 hours before shopping with us, whether that be in-store or online. So… Read more
buyer beware, don’t get caught up in the spin from Woolworths Rewards! I’ll be doing my best to shop at any other store.
I tried purchasing on the Rewards Shop using the Everyday WISH giftcards for a $1800 TV and it keeps saying transaction rejected. Tried calling the customer service, waited for 20mins then they (1st guy) say I have to be transferred to the Everyday Shop team to get the order to go through. Then the 2nd guy asked if I have an updated app which I… Read more
said yes, then he said I'll transfer you to the customer hub team. Then I waited for another 20 mins and realised I have been wrongly transferred to the first team that I've called. So the 3rd guy transferred me to the Everyday shop team AGAIN, where the one answered checked a couple details and said I will transfer you to the team who helps with checkout. Then waited for 20mins, I have been transferred to the SAME customer hub team that I've first called. At this point I have been on the call for 1.5hrs+ and I am so done with them so I told the 5th guy I just want a refund on the $1800 giftcards I've purchased particularly for this. I got transferred to the gift card team now, having to wait for another 15mins. The 6th guy said he is going to check my gift card and after waiting for 10mins I got HUNG UP. I have been on the phone for 2.5hrs and now I have $1800 giftcard sitting here with me. Amazing.

I purchased through the rewards app. I wanted to use a gift card but it automatically used my credit card details (which I had no choice but to enter when signing up). I tried to cancel the order but it processed anyway. I sent a message via the app and waited over 6 hours for a response, only for them to say the sale is a ‘mydeal’ purchase so I… Read more
would need to take it up with them. I can’t contact Mydeal because I don’t have an account. Then I find my chat with the rewards rep had ended while I was waiting for a response. I get a survey instead. Terrible customer service and accountability for offers made on their own app.
Woolworths everyday Reward program - I don’t think so !!! – This program seems to be glossy and very much for the consumer to reward you for buying with Woolworths. The only trouble is it’s always premium random products. It’s always some conditions before you get rewards. It’s never just straightforward. For me it’s simple - You spend the money. You get the reward it’s billed as a loyalty program, but… Read more
it’s not really that and I think that they are Spent so much time on advertising in various forms but they actually just missed the point about giving customers who are loyal to them a small reward for stayingwith them. It’s time for me to spend my money elsewhere.
Woolworths Rewards puchases through My Deal - No refunds only credits – BEWARE if you are using your rewards points to purchase anything from My Deal - I purchased something that was apparently in Australia and to be shipped within 10 days - what I got! was an email 30 days later just before xmas was an email saying supplier has lost in transit (and when I checked it said out of stock) even though this was their… Read more
mistake/problem My Deal would not give me my payment back "only a store credit" and what was worst was when I contacted Woolworths Rewards they said nothing to do with them (even though the payment come from them and was purchased through their system) If that was Paypal or any other party making the payment they would just deduct back the points - Not leave you high and dry just before Xmas - I just dont want this to happen to anyone else before xmas and you are counting on presents to be here. "I Beleive they are both owned by majority Woolworths"
Coffee vouchers - pretty much useless – Whilst Woolworths encourages us to spend a minimum $30 in one shop by offering vouchers for barista made cup of coffee , I find the stores that have the barista counter are few and far between. In my case the two nearest stores to me - Redfern ( across from the park) and Bourke St Surry Hills, do not have an onsite Barista. Today I happened to… Read more
be in the Central on Broadway shopping centre where the Woolworths store did provide a Barista service so was keen to utilise my reward voucher before it expires, only to be told that they do not do decaf coffees (for medical reasons i have to avoid all caffeine). How difficult is it for a barista station to be supplied with both regular and decaf coffee ? A pretty useless reward Woolworths
Worst customer service and poor information – I have contacted Rewards twice about missing points and get no answers at all, it’s been around a month since the first time. Besides, they claim we can get 10x points when purchasing some gift cards and we can purchase 5 each day. I bought 3 and only got points on 2 of them, this limit is not written in any terms and conditions.
Shame on Woolies – I've never been able to link my rewards card to any website Woolies claims you can earn extra rewards from. I''ve never been able to log into my online rewards account using my email or card number. Today I decided to find out why. It was a bad decision. After trying numerous ways to log in, I went to the chat online. What an insult to humanity… Read more
that is! I was eventually placed in a queue with 7 people before me or so it stated. While I waited I called the Rewards contact number. Another torturous experience! I got told due to a high volume of calls, wait times were 58 - 60 minutes. In the meantime, the online queue hadn't moved much. It took twenty minutes for the queue to dwindle to 4. By then I'd had enough of Woolies delay tactics. They know people will just give up waiting, like I did! Shame on Woolies!!!!!!
Disappointed – Purchased kettle on big w app unable to claim my 10 percent discount as it is comeing from everyday market I purchased my kettle though big w for my discount they are selling it a bigw but not applying the discount
Horrendous service – This doesn't even deserve a single star. The service on the chat function is horrendous. The rewards card doesn't work for me. Woolworths staff don't want to know about it until you're standing at their service desk holding up a queue of people and not moving until your situation is resolved.
Rewards card and app are a joke! – Waste of time! Rewards card is a joke aswell as the app it comes with and the so called customer service. Not worth the hassle

Everyday Pay issues and awful service as a result – Used everyday pay at the Bentleigh store. The Money was deducted off the gift card BUT the terminal said payment declined. I can see on my gift card balance on line the transaction was successfully deducted. However, the store insists I didn't pay and the worse thing is they do nothing to try and resolve the situation. The advice i am given is I … Read more
is shouldn't use the terminal or gift card (because I explained this had happened before). What!? Not use gift cards or use a different terminal (as if they readily available at Xmas). Woolies how would you feel if one of your friends or family was given such advice? Why should the consumer be responsible for sorting this out? Why should the consumer be accountable for malfunctioning Woolies systems? Why should the consumer have to call everyday pay/ everyday rewards to report and try and resolve the issue (which involves waiting over an hour on the phone!). Whilst this doesn't happen often it's disappointing that when it does happen it's not recognised as an issue by the store, who instead see it as an issue for the customer to resolve. I'm not the only to encounter this , see here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/798916
one of the worse reward programs – Stopped working, 30-plus mins to call Both my husband and my card stopped offering the 10% off a month in store. I’d gone in specifically to get the discount as we also pay for delivery. We shop a lot at Woolworths so can’t see why it stopped. Then the chat bot gave me an online code but when we tried to use it that didn’t work. While the… Read more
Woolworths website is MUCH better than Coles, the rewards at Coles exceed Woolies significantly. It feels pretty insulting to posts huge profits, hike up grocery prices and take away rewards.
Value has of rewards has really decreased this year – There used to be significant bonus points for spending, say, $50 per shop for three weeks. and things like that, but there has been nothing for a long time. Prices of many goods, such as bread, have risen significantly this year. There are very few bonus points for regular items , which makes the scheme no longer worthwhile. Also the website is unresponsive and it is very difficult if impossible to boost offers,
SCAM! – DO NOT buy any gift card from Woolworths because you will have chance NOT getting your points from everyday rewards. And They didn’t provide any help after the incident happened. Absolute disgraced! Shame on Woolworths and everyday rewards! They wrote tiny terms of condition underneath the page, and even I read the page underneath, but what they’ve done is to write more underneath the next page. I don’t think this is legal!
Disappointed – Up until recently, Rewards app was an easy to use app. For some unknown reason, someone decided to fiddle and improve the app. However, it was quite the opposite. The only thing that can be used in the app is the bar code which they've hidden.
Always offered stuff I don't buy – Don't get to ad many points im always offered stuff that I don't even buy, never offers for the stuff I do buy oh and the rewards for alcohol but not ciggarettes is unfair, I buy the 10 pack of mother energy drinks I remember when woolies raised the price overnight from $12 to $19 but quicklydropped it back down to now $13.90 I guess they couldn't… Read more
put there mark up on them and still have people buy them at that price always boils down to money with woolies, when I go.the bridgewater store I have to ask staff to look for my product it's usually sitting.out the back and not on the shelves how.anoying for the poor underpaid staff and me having to wait around, no self serve at bridgewater either but most of the other woolies here have it I don't understand why unfair really
Impossible to access account – I cant earn rewards on my online orders because I need to access my account. I have been trying to access it for months but by the time the verification email is sent 20 minutes later, the sign in page has timed out. I updated my phone number after it was changed and it still sends the code to my old number. Its so frustrating
Replacement Card – I have been asking for replacement card since March via messenger, apparently the code supposed to sent to my email address and this was not received since yesterday I tried again and still the same issues, I phoned via relay services and waited over half hour and Jess customer services help but then she hanged up, my account apparently locked… Read more
because i click request the code to send to my email address to many times ! This is bloody lazy system they have, All I need is replacement card and why it is so hard to get one. I have tried on my mobile app - it end up the same issues. Ive send pic to messenger just 5 min as I am waiting for someone to help via Chat...still waiting so close it.
