Won't boil water! – Bought this to use while our kitchen is being replaced. Have just tried to use it to cook some pasta but after nearly an hour it hasn't been able to get the water to boil! Took out half the water and replaced with boiling water from a jug, but even that hasn't helped. Will be returning it tomorrow!
Poor Customer Service – Just following up- I contacted 'customer care' as requested and sent in the faulty appliance. The representative cheerfully informed me that it was my fault as the appliance had been turned on and off too many times(!) causing the internal switch to break, and that it was an old appliance!!! And I was told I should have unplugged it every time it is finished with..What a crock. No apologies for the fact we had a fire as a result of using their appliance. But then I guess that would have made them admit liability. And no Kambrook, I will not contact you again, nor will I remove this review. So much for customer care.
Worst electrical appliance ever – 40 Minutes to cook chicken on highest temperature setting. I tried once to cook rice on it and got so angry waiting I ordered take away. First time I spilled something on the 'easy clean' surface it permanently stained it. The engineer who designed this should have his face stuck to it.
