Stay away from live connected and vaya – Changed my service from live connected six months ago to amaysim so thought account was cancelled now all of a sudden they have started taking payments out of my bank. and to get online then you get online and they conveniently busy too asks you to leave email address and they will get back to you and they don't..am very angry and unimpressed..please stay away from both these companies...
Cancelled account because I couldn't make payment due to web portal not working – STAY AWAY from these jokers. I had to update my credit card details but their web payment portal has not been working for at least two weeks. customer service rep advised that they would advise me when they had repaired their web portal. I then received an email advising that my account was suspended. I am finding another service provider but want to warn everyone not to go with Live Connected / Vaya.
Terrible!! – Avoid these guys at all costs, you will be hit with extra charges and fees, bad customer service and no easy way to exit without getting a charged a crapload. No easy way to check data usage, it is set up to rack up extra fees from this. These guys deserve to get shut down!

People that complain need to lower their expectations – You pay for what you get and you will save money. Don't ring them. There is no call centre and no offshore customer service. It's email support or Facebook support only. This is why they are cheap. If you can't handle that go with Telstra and get ripped off every month.
Better than Telstra/Optus etc – I'd recommend Live Connected over any other company. People only post a review if their experience was bad. I have been with Live Connected for just over a year now. Not a single problem. I had an iphone 4 when I signed up then upgraded to iPhone 5s and they sent me a new sim. Was easy, Fast response time. Highly recommend live connected (Also its dirt cheap!)
Can't fault the phone service – My husband and I have been with LC for over a year on a $19.95 plan with 1.5GB data. Same plan with Telstra was $60 month. We live in a capital city, and have had perfect service since connecting. We did have some earlier connection issues, but this was quickly resolved when we sent them a message via Facebook. Would be confident to recommend them or their sister company VAYA.

almost $200 for my data when I had not even exceeded it. I chased this up and they refunded me and gave me the month free of charge, which demonstrated good customer service and I was happy. However, it went downhill from there. Since then there have been several instances when they have charged me for excess data when I had not even been alerted that I had used 50% let alone 100% of it. I tried to follow this up and they refused to take any responsibility for it. Even since then, I have ensured that I have continually monitored my data on their "live data tracker" to make sure I did not go over. Yesterday, I had previously had data turned off for 3 days so the live data tracker, which may be delayed by up to 48 hours, should have well and truly been up to date since my last usage. It said 38% of my data had been used. I then turned data on and browsed for not even an hour, not even looking at any videos or instagram which would chew up data, and then was notified I had not only reached but EXCEEDED my limit. This was absolutely ludicrous and impossible, given the duration and nature of my browsing, and the fact that I had plenty of data left before browsing. All I can conclude now is that there is dishonesty with data charges here and I won't stand for it any longer.
I seriously encourage you to have a good think about signing up/remaining with this company as it seems very dishonest and you will likely be hit with charges out of nowhere.
Awful customer service – Awful customer service you need to wait a few hours every time you need to speak to them. I got charged twice after I switched to an another mobile company
Unscrupulous – 1. Increasing costs per month without informing or asking you. From $12 to $18 to $23. 2. Decreasing data allowance per month without informing or asking you. From 2GB to 1.5GB to 1GB. 3. Charging extra $20 to continue service after having account for 4 years. 4. No way to cancel simcard or subscription on online account page, but plenty of ways to pay company more money/change credit card details.

Worst carrier out there – I have been with them for a couple years and now that I've decided to leave as I realised I had a terrible deal they have charged me 1 full month plus freeze fee for leaving. I don't know how these crooks get away with getting an extra free month payment when someone leaves. I hope this company crashes and burn.

2) They'll send you SMS notifications when you go over your data limit, but the SMS is at least 48 hours late, by which time you've racked up an expensive bill. I've used telcos in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, and none of them have this issue.
3) Back when Live Connected first started, they promised that you could keep your plan forever. The plans were good value, so many people signed up. Once they realised they couldn't keep that promise they created new (more expensive) plans and they applied a "plan freeze fee" to anyone on an old plan. That fee is now $9.90... on a plan that costs $11.99. Yep, that's an 82% price hike. If you can't deliver on a promise, don't make that promise!
4) Their customer support is awful. If they want to outsource their support, that's fine, but get people who can speak English fluently.
TL;DR: Live Connected looks cheap, but there will be hidden fees and charges. Don't do it.
Absolutely shocking! – Don't never ever use LIVE CONNECTED! I am overcharged every month, the last bill was by more than $100. The month before by $40. I have to call every month to resolve these charges. There's also the plan freeze fee and security payment they will automatically deduct (Around $30) I couldn't advise against there service more strongly. Do not use this service.

website data usage indicator as of the last day of billing period (Aug 31st) was showing I've used 50% of my data but I have been charged almost $650 for extra usage data. They claim the usage indicator is 48 hours behind but in fact its far more than that. I am in the process of dealing with the issue and will let you know about the result.
live data delayed and expensive data charge – The so called live data usage online is delayed by 10 days!!!! I was hit because of this! They send you the warning sms 10 days behind (not the 48 hours delay as claimed by themselves)!!!

with my data usage—apparently my data was used within 10 days (which I wanted to be reviewed) and I received a $267 phone bill. Every time I submitted a ticket/enquiry for this issue on their support centre page, it was deleted or left unanswered... there are plenty of other mobile plans just as cheap with much better customer service and deals.

People say: "The Customer is God" If you've don't give a sh*t about your customers, then why shall we use your service? Totally NOT worth it. I wouldn't use it even though it was free...Be careful people.
Don't know the meaning of customer service!! – I have been a customer for many years and put up with the constant price increases. As we no longer required the service I asked to cancel. After ingoring my request, They have pulled out of thin air a $30 disconnection fee and and prorated fees. This issue has been going back and forth for months now and they are threatening to ruin my credit rating if I don't pay. BE WARNED!!!

There is no contact number so you have to keep on sending messages or waiting for somebody to come on line on the "chat now" system. I have had my sim card now for four days and still NOT activated. Not happy!

Terrible Service – Signed up for a plan, they decided to increase it by $9.90 (plan freeze fee) crying poor and sent a dodgy poorly worded email explaining why it 'needed' to be done. They are also never available for customer support. They are not really cheap when you consider how hard it is to resolve any sort of issues with them.

genuinely worried, of course. I was just here to see if the service has deteriorated since the vaya takeover, and that does appear to be the case. But it hasn't effected me yet, or has it? The other reason I'm here is that my latest bill had its first ever extra charge - I called a number back from the voicemail service - $3.05 - that would really add up if you did that regularly. So if you think you'll be doing that, I recommend going for a different provider - I bet Optus wouldn't charge for it.
Find another provider – This has to be the most incompetent company I have every dealt with and they continuously try and charge you for a plan you have cancelled months before. Do yourself a favour, stay away, stay as far away as possible from this firm.
I am looking for the other provider – It is unbelievable. Just because me and my partner share an email address they sent the replacement SIM to my partner instead of me even when I specifically stated my name, account and phone number. Then they charged twice her and me for the replacement SIMs.

Worst Service Provider EVER!! – Worst service provider I have EVER been with. The moment you go over your cap on one thing, they cut everything off. my texts and data back on. Which I am ENTITLED to in my contract and when I questioned this, the rude customer service person who didn't give a damn just said it was policy. I even requested months ago for them to not cut it off, and for them to let it roll over and I'll pay the excess, as it's for work related issues. Extremely angry and disappointed! Cheap until they sting you for phantom usage - AVOID – I thought my plan was good value until being charged excess usage of $51.28....for 0.02GB! it, excess charges of $82.54, this time for 200GB. And again they refused acknowledge the impossibility of my usage of 1.1GB in the short period I was with them in the final month, insisting I should take the matter up with the telecommunications ombudsman if I have an issue (which I intend to do).
On a side note, network coverage (via Optus) was fairly unreliable.
In summary, be aware that they do charge for unproven excess data usage, and judging by the other reviews, it is a common practice.
Stay Away!!!!!!!! – Everything was fine until I decided to move to another provider. I was slugged a $159 invoice for data usage which had phantom amounts showing up in places I was not at times that didn't make sense. I could not get hold of anyone and my calls kept getting disconnected. Stay AWAY!

So I went to check my internet usage items. Apparently there are items incurred prior to my normal wake up time (my phone is on flight modes at night). Also items used when I'm at work (during work I don't really have time to do anything data intensive anyway, and if I want to use a few hundred mbs of data at work, what do I even have to be doing just to achieve those numbers?).
Contacting customer service was a nightmare, support staff was speaking in very strong accents that's hard to make out. Customer service is very firm with the fact that there can be no mistakes in their recording of data usage and I must have had used it or else it wouldn't say that. It's basically impossible to get them to see it from my angle.
At the end of the month, received a bill of $185 for the extra usage for a phone plan that's supposedly $20 a month. Very unimpressed. Have to admire their effort in destroying customer loyalty. Will switch plans for sure.

worst service in my life – I am using Rapid 19 but they gave me $200 for talk from the beginning. I sent message 3 times and called 2 times to fix my one. However, they never replied and changed. I strongly don't recommend this company!
