Love Vaya

Hubby and i have both been with Vaya for probably ten years or so and never had a problem. Use my phone for everything and have never run out of data. For $16 a month it’s a great deal. When on holidays coverage may not be as good as some others but so what, can live without it sometimes! Show details

Vaya is a Total Scam

Stay away from this mobile provider. They do not abide by Australian standards, legislation or code of practice. I've had to pay for data/services I never received, I paid for my regular bill but my service was not activated to use my phone and had to ring them for it to be turned on.
Since joining them I got many spam calls, texts and emails from those of the same nationality as those I spoke to at their office.
I moved over to Mate Mobile and I couldn't be happier. Show details

Vaya online chat experience

Just got off online chat to order a replacement SIM card. I received an immediate reply and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. This rates as the best online chat experience yet for me. If people have had problems in the past it looks like Vaya have lifted their game. Show details

Vaya Poor Customer Service

Been with this company for 14 years. They used to be pretty good. I need to update a few things, website has been under maintenance for 6 days and they cannot tell me when it will be up and running, looking at other reviews its always under maintenance? So I cannot login to update my details.
Live chat is useless, tried 5 or 6 times, and 3 hours, still haven't gotten anywhere.
They are OK until you need assistance or need help. You get what you pay for. Show details

No explanation for inability to connect

All good for years. Suddenly have problems with phone connecting, it times out and cancels. People get a message saying my number is not connected!
Husbands phone also has same issue. Have to call someone 8-10 times before connecting. Moved sim to another phone and still same problem, replaced sim, same problem. Customer service have hung up on me (and I was being nice). I have spent 3 months advising them of this but every time I call they want to go through each step of troubleshooting even though I advise I have already been through them.

9 years with Vaya

My wife and I have been with Vaya for eight years, in that time we have had...
*Sufficient download speeds
*Never gone over the required data
*Coverage has been okay but when I ride down to Woodenbong NSW, no coverage.
*Also, wanted to add...When Optus had their problems with Cyber Security Scammers. Our mobile data, phones were not affected.
*Didn't have change licence
*Didn't have to change passport

So, overall usability has been kind to us over the eight year period.

Do not join there service

When I first commenced my bills were at $29.00 than without even using much data my data would be used and you had to buy data packs on the end I was paying an average of $69.00 a month The last woman I spoke with was so rude Show details

Good low cost plan

I have been with Vaya for about ten years now. Really good value for money, hardly ever any service issues (bar the major Optus outage), online chat available to sort out issues. The only real issue I've had is accessing my account online, there are consistently issues with the website. This is a pain but overall it's a good provider. Show details

I've been a customer with Vaya for 11 years. This is the final straw

I was pretty happy with Vaya for the most part, but after the recent issues with Optus, I've decided to vote with my money. Nation-wide data breach and then a nation-wide outage within a year? Nah, not happening. And you've now decided to cap my data as well. So I have to go find a McDonalds in order to get internet. Show details

I've been with Vaya for years and can't fault them. They do little things like extra data in your birthday month. Great low cost plans, reliable service!

I’m giving you this review

Hi we spoke before and issue out a new SIM card but have to ring up each time. My Sim card gets old. They need to sell sim card at a store somewhere people can be able to get one easier. It is too annoying ringing up each time to replace an old Sim card each time I have to swap phones to a new phone. Show details

Impossible to login to account

Over the past few weeks I have had to login twice to my Vaya Account and the login has not worked. After being advised to reset my password, still no hope of getting in. After waiting on the phone to get through to an operator I have been told on both occasions that it is a 'maintenance 'issue and is being fixed. The actual rates and mobile service is great, but impossible to ever login to your account. I had to tell an operator ( in who knows what country!) my card details to change them. Not very safe, but the only way due to being unable to log into my own account! Show details

Hi, I’m having difficulties trying transfer my old phone number. Sim card,l have not received sent by vaya

I’m complaining about how dodgy vaya and slack delivering a vaya SIM card, l requested New Sim card, but haven’t received it they never told me, about how Long the Sim card takes it’s been awhile now 13 days l’ve have paid my bills for that day, and still didn’t get a proper answer about Service provider about my Sim card Delay. I think vaya should contact the post department and tell what’s going on with the delivery delay? So customers can understand what’s going on. i’m telling you now people if you’re having the same difficulties I’m going through who knows what they’re going to do next and the further future to new customers and old customers. Vaya why don’t you sell your Sim cards at a local store helps customers that way. Show details

Absolute worst! Wish I could give less stars

Needed to re-set my password as I don't use the web site, all payments are auto-set. First attempt using Live-Chat - failed to get in. Had to: clear cache, use Chrome, incognito mode, wait minimum of 4 hours to attempt log-in (which I did), failed to get in. Went through the exact same process the next working day, 2nd password re-set, could not log in. The LiveChat (bot..?) was trying to be helpful, but in reality the web site was not working to allow me to log in. The "Ask your Queries" section does not actually submit the request, rather, the wheel spins with nothing actually happening. Would not recommend from a service POV - utterly useless. Show details
