Better operators and businesses available – I was a driver. Drivers are sent in opposite directions of jobs they have on board and given jobs of priority that prevent delivery of jobs that are reaching their time limit. Management are like any other, the more customers a company has the more work they have and cannot do. Confused - but content! – I ordered a delivery within 3 hours from The Iconic. When I saw they used Mailcall - whom I've never heard of before - I checked their' reviews; of course, I then panicked! Well, now I'm 'confused' by the bad reviews. My driver '262' was great, very pleasant, delivered in 2.5 hours - and the tracking was accurate. What a team – We're a new customer and sent packages every day for the last two months expecting normal courier all day service however was pleasantly surprised to have them picked up within 15-30 minutes and delivered in 2-3 hours....And somoe have been from CBD to Penrith. Awesome delivery service, great customer service, friendly driver and happy customer. Keep up the good work, we love you guys :)
reliable and good timing – pretty decent service for the money paid sometimes drivers are not sure of how to pick up and where to pick up because they have never done the job i guess a bit more training for the drivers would help

I asked if this is company policy to charge late payment fees and they said yes - it's in the fine print agreement. Yep didn't have a copy of the agreement. Requested one - checked it and yep in small print it's buried in there.
Even the rep who signed me up didn't speak up about it. In trying to get to the bottom of this, when I queried him he told me it was something he did not believe in and felt it was doing a lot of damage to the company name. Really?
I had a real issue with this. I wasn't informed and should have been.
I decided to move company immediately. Found a new company bigger and better - actually found three all with no late payment fees. Statements on time - couriers on time. And have been with one of them now since. Awesome company to deal with.
So getting back to Mailcall. In my view it should have been made very clear upfront that invoice need to be paid in tie to avoid these fees which accrue. So each months you pay interest on the late payment fees and so on.
Whats fair and reasonable - I ring them they discuss they these are their terms - they drop the initial late payment fees as I am now aware and then we move on - they keep us we are happy with their customer service. That's what most companies do in a matter like this. It's not hard!!
So I paid courier charges owing in full but not the late payment fees. By this stage it had accrued to I think a $200plus.
4 years later I had my bank account frozen and an amount over $1000 removed from my account due to a court action taken by Mailcall for not paying these late payment fees.
A court action I new nothing about. Why - No correspondence - no cal chasing - no nothing.
Mailcalls strategy was obviously to let the late payments fees accrue to a recoverable amount and then off they go.

So, there was no correspondence from Mallcall - No legal letters - No effort to call me for the Rep to say these guys are not going to budge They had my number. They had my email. Nope let's just let the interest accrue on the late payment and in a couple of years recover.
So congratulations Mailcall. You are awesome.

But you lost the customer.
So we now have grown and spend over $5K a year with another courier company. As mentioned we have been with them since. Very happy. An absolute delight to deal with. I order express couriers and they are on time. It's awesome.
And we have a rep who looks after us.
Let's do the sums.
$1K recovered vs $20K plus in lost sales.
Take the $1K, I suggest take the management team out for a nice dinner at Hungry Jacks or KFC as a reward. You guys deserve it.
From my experience and by the look of it, many others, think very carefully about using Mailcall.
Stay Away At All Costs – Couriers take FOREVER, every second day I am having to fight with customer service because drivers take your jobs home WITHOUT notice, and become un contactable due to 12hour work limit. back and she was very rude and decided to return my package when I told her she just drive pass me and I was waiting for her on the street while it was raining. Moreover, as I was going to get on the flight early next morning I called her again and apologize to her even if I was the paying customer and did nothing wrong, and asked if I could Uber to meet her at her next delivery location and explain to her the situation. She rudely agrees to meet at her next delivery location. So I Uber to the address, when i got there and waited for a good 5 minutes I called her but she blocked my number. So I used my other phone to call her and she yelled at me saying "I'm not gonna wait for you mate, you are late!" and she hangs up on me. I had the called on the loud speaker so even the driver heard it and he was very shocked with how she spoke to me. Not only that the Uber ride cost me a good $58! This is my first time using Mail Call service and I will assure that it will also be my last.

I wish I could give 0 stars – The jobs are never on time! They are always late and the customer service never helps then just tell you how busy they are. Usually 3 hours late and they don't compensate when they are late! Show details
The most rudest and offensive service! – I arranged delivery for my customer in Melbourne, who was abused and shouted at by the Mail Call delivery driver in a most offensive manner. It was unwarranted and deplorable behavior in any circumstance! Mail Call never responded at all to messages left about the complaint.
Service gone downhill – They used to be reliable but in the last 6 months or so what used to be a 3hr turn around service has turned into an all day afair. So many times now booked a job 9-10am in the morning and end up chasing them around 2-3pm in the afternoon to see when its being picked up??? Will be looking for another provider.
The worst Company to deal with – Worst Service through out the company, accounts, deliveries, etc. we were dealing with them few times, until decided that there must be some others who can service you better. Do yourself a favor... Choose another Company in fact with better rates.... We did and will never use Mail Call ever again....
20 days for 1 shirt! – I live in Brisbane. I ordered a shirt from Perth. It took 18+ days to come and it ended up being 3 sizes smaller then i ordered. This was unbelievable since i was going to a party that night and had to spend an extra $20 on a shirt that looked terrible. I just can never rely on this company.
Unreliable – Five hours to deliver from booking time, wrong vehicles sent, i.e utilities on another paid VIP as they stated would need to pick up at 7am to arrive at 10. Arrived at 8am church not open, 11 am service. Many times slow delivery, same problems!
Terrible, Just Give Up On Deliveries – Terrible service, no package received. Ordered a pair of shoes online for express delivery, there was supposed to be a 4 hour turn around. I was off work at home the whole day as for the delivery I had selected "no authority to leave". There was no attempt to deliver the parcel at all, there was no knock on the door and the front door itself was open so all that had to be done was to call out through the screen door.

Upon calling back, as I was unsatisfied I was informed that I would not be able to pick up the package myself and that it would be easier to REORDER my goods from the Iconic which I could get on Saturday - rather than wait until they delivered my order on the Monday.
As a company that supposedly prides itself on fast, efficient deliveries, it did not meet my expectations. I have also forwarded there details onto the Iconic for management to review this company as a freight service when they are unhelpful and clearly cannot meet the expectations that you pay for. In my experience, if a driver cannot deliver goods PAID to be delivered by a certain time frame than another driver is usually available to pick up the goods from the original driver and make sure that the customer gets their products as intended. Would not use this company again - it would also make you question individual organisations who would choose a freight service like this one that can quite clearly damage your reputation and support fraudulent claims in being able to deliver in a certain amount of time.

to your client in Alexandria, ring 1 hour later, he is in Matraville (other side of Alexandria from Strathfield so he has gone straight past) and is going straight to your client. 30 minutes later he is going to the CBD (past Alexandria again). Finally delivered after 6pm.
We stopped using them.
Then 3 months later we get a court summons for over $4000 when we had used less than $2200 of courier services, we asked the rep to come out and see us, he turned up on about 30 minutes (wish their drivers were that quick!), we showed him the court summons etc and our booking log etc He was "flabbergasted", looked up his ipad and found they had the wrong email address for our accounts department and for me (left the .au off - doh!). Fixed the email addresses on the spot and said he would sort it out with accounts. When we chased him up he said it was in the hands of the courts and there was nothing he could do. So we rung their solicitor and they said you have to email, we emailed the facts to them including payment receipt for paying what we owed. No response from the solicitor (maybe he's got wrong address too!) despite leaving voicemail for him. So now we have to lodge defence with the courts and waste a lot of time. Why did we ever let the rep in the door!
A few points i get from this;
1. They must have a seriously inept accounts department, not only can they not enter an email address correctly but they cant make a simple phone call to follow up a late payment.
2. They probably do this a lot and actually rely on late payment/penalty fees to increase their revenue, the solicitors fees are included in the claim so there is minimal costs to them. I don't remember signing terms and conditions but they probably have some real nasty ones which tie you up in knots and make their case pretty safe. Will see how we go!
In short - DON'T USE MAILCALL
Dont Use Mail Call – Worst courier in sydney. Should not even get 1 star. Shocking service, extremely unreliable, consistently late for urgent deliveries, aggressive and loud account manager, constantly overcharged on invoices. Unreasonable accounts department. Staff do not communicate with one another and complete lack of attention to detail. This company couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag. Don't use them, you will regret it.

number of times hoping he would realise what he had done. We proceeded onto Pacific Highway and behold our surprise, the same van next to ours! He noticed our car and decided to shout abuse at us following closely next to us, changing lanes, getting in front, swerving in and out of traffic. We tried to ignore him as we didn't want to get involved in any altercation in peak hour traffic. When he realised he wouldn't get anything from us he sped off!
Now, as a business owner myself I would definitely look into whom i employ or give contracts to! This is ridiculous and dangerous what these people are capable of!
Never ever dealing with this company and their 'thugs' again! And i'll make sure that my business associates know about this as well!

Hills/Bondi... so getting there is difficult, I leave home at 6:30am. If you are late at pick up then you get penalised.
The run is a nightmare... Surry Hills to CBD then CBD to Avalon.... then Avalon to surry hills > Tarren points > Liverpool > Galston > Pennant hills > Blacktown... over 400 kms in a day like this.
$15 a job.. usually 15 jobs so that equals $225 and you get $25 for fuel.. that all equals to $250... then you pay tolls which is on average $20-$25 and 400 kms is around $50 plus the usual 20 percent tax ($50)... so you end up getting $125 cash in hand for 12 hours worth of work.
Now you do the math.. 12 hours x 5 = 60 hours of work a week and you clear $625 so on average thats $10.40 an hour.
Do the math before you sign up with any courier company.

Rip off merchants – Was charged an exorbitant for alleged waiting time when there was none - don't use this company for couriers, they will try and rip you off. When we queried we were told "that's it" and now they are charging us late payment fees for the dispute. Be warned, do not use Mail Call. Rip off merchants
Overcharged for 4 years – We were initially charged $8 for a local pushbike delivery which went up to 12.85 over a four year period. Then we started working closely with another company who were paying $5 for the same service. company for your online store DO IT, 3 hour delivery for syd and melb not all areas but still good, the customer will want to shop at your online store, same day delivery? if they know what they already want and do not want to drive can just sit at home and buy the item and 3 hours later it comes, so convenient !! Fantastic Service – I had a stock standard delivery booked in last week and it went pear shaped with my client wanting a change in delivery location and then being unavailable at a dodgy delivery destination. the staff at Mail Call in the call centre, and the driver, were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. Driver did a pee on the bushes – We just took a delivery this morning from Mail Call. The driver then walked out of reception went over to the bushes just outside the door and proceeded to pee in the bushes.
