Garbage service, terrible support
Scheduled a delivery from 1-5PM. Was home all afternoon. Received an email said delivery was done. Nothing delivered - called support only to be told the "driver made all possible efforts to contact and no one was home". Absolutely rubbish. When I said I took time off work and was home, was told this is a he said/she said situation. Terrible.
Don't use them and let's start a partition to put them out of business
I need to question the company model on allowing home deliveries after 9pm. This is not only inconvenient but intrusive. I ordered wines from Boozbuz and was told Star Track picked up the parcel at 6pm and estimated delivery was 9pm. However until 10:45pm they still have not arrived. I called them to ask for next day delivery, they told me they have to cancel the order and I need to call Boozbuz to rebook delivery. So a normal delivery turned into a nightmare. Why Star Track thinks it is ok to disturb people's evenings by delivering after...9pm? Why Star Track thinks it is the consumer's fault if they cannot stay up all night to wait? Why can they not pay some respect on people's basic needs to sleep and stop delivering after 9pm? Don't use them if you don't want the whole household to be woken up at godforsaken hours just to receive a box of beer or a pack of wine.
Don't use them Australia Post
Am the receiver. First delivery delivered to block of Units next to my address. I gave full details of address as it can be tricky. They did not even phone. Neighbour brought it to me.
Second delivery was meant to be today. I was home. Apparently driver could not find address. Rang "my mobile" and was diverted to AGL! Driver obviously can't dial numbers. I wish Australia Post would use another company.
Please travel 200km to collect a parcel we didn't even try to deliver.....
I received a 'Sorry we've missed you' parcel collection slip in my mailbox, even though no attempt was made to deliver the parcel. I was home, the front door was open, we have a doorbell etc etc. This has been our experience with every delivery we've ever had from Star Track.
In this case the slip said to pick up the parcel the next day, from a depot over 100km away. When I called Star Track neither the consignment number or the barcode on the slip are actually linked to any parcel details, so they can't organise redelivery and have no idea if my parcel is actually at the depot even if I did do a 200km round trip to collect it.
Pity we can't give them negative ratings.
Would give zero stars if I could! Even snail mail is faster and more reliable
Their depot is a mysterious black hole and packages will sit there for days. Their service desk has no idea what's happening but are all too happy to reassure it will be delivered tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes! This is not an isolated incident, I've had two other deliveries exact same experience. I had two other packages arrive quicker, one from US the other via snail mail.
Twice now, we've had parcels delivered, and weren't home. The parcel was left, but someone in my house left the parcel in a spot where I didn't see it! I rang Startrack both times, and they sent someone around, either that day or the next to make sure I received it. I call that great service.
Attempted Delivery - No one in attendance
Absolute rubbish service, was waiting patiently at home and then "Attempted Delivery - No one in attendance" pops up on the online tracking. Don't lie StarTrack, you never bothered coming. Didn't even leave a card.
Two complete muck ups for a pickup, the second the driver came out of the allocated pick up time - no wonder I wasn’t home. I’ve spent the whole of the actual pick up time trying to get StarTrack to send a driver and ringing them with no call back or update. Would never use or recommend. Maybe less time on setting up bill payments in post offices and more time on moving mail and parcels.
Delivery was very late ... the Delivery guy didn't care at all that the box was damaged...product seems to be ok still testing ? They don't care about there jobs or who they deliver too..?
No call No ring
I was at home the whole day, but no one ever called or rang the bell. It's just a small parcel, if you could come to drop the card, why couldn't you just bring the parcel and ring the f bell? The normal Post at least drop the parcel to the nearest Post office, where I can easily pick it up. Why the hell startrack return the parcel to a business hub that is far away??? To be honest, if you have no intention to deliver the f parcel, just dont do it. Why waste the f fuel and emit the green house gas for nothing?

They didn't even call!
So I asked the office if I can work from home because I am expecting a delivery today. They sent me a message that my TPG bundle is out for delivery. 4 hours later I received another text message that attempted delivery has failed. I did not receive any calls from the driver! I live in a building and far from the gate. can they not give extra effort to tell the receiver that they are at the place?
courier and hotline receptionist the company hired are the most rude people I ve ever seen
This morning the courier stood in my frond yard rejecting to give me the parcel, because my dog was barking. He said that I could not give you the parcel, go pick up at postoffice. I said I can take it over now, why I need to go pickup at postoffice, he was furious yelling as walk your dog away!!He was in my front yard, my dog was kept indoor, the dog has no either way to access to him!!! He just left a note and gone. I called customer service and reported this issue, he said we have policies like the courier has the right to go if he feels uns...afe. Again my dog was indoor!!!Ive been living in this area for 3 years, haven't met a delivery issue like this. The customer service said he could not do anything for me. The courier can curl in his bed not even go to toilet, then he can have a relatively safe world. why did he take this job, this job is full of 'unsafe' factors, it just does not suits him !!!!!!
Business owners being ripped off with fixed price premium boxes
If you have an account with startrack and use the fixed price premium boxes. make sure you check your weekly invoice as you will be getting overcharged as the boxes are scanning at a larger cubic rate and you will be getting charged the next box size. It is a known issue with startrack they will not credit the claim either or fix the issue as it will affect their revenue.
Terrible customer service, cancelled my delivery
The courier didn’t even drive into my driveway as I have security cameras and a sensor light. I got a text saying delivery of my husbands birthday present was attempted, I was waiting right at the door. When I called to enquire [Name Removed] informed me that he would be there in 10 mins and I should’ve answered the door when he knocked. I told her that no one knocked I was waiting at the door. [Name Removed] spoke over me and was extremely rude, I hung up. I then waited outside for 49 mins before calling back when [Name Removed] told me she wa...s trying to help me but I “stuffed up” by being rude to her and so she’d cancelled my order! I apologised for swearing end explained that there is no excuse for being rude, but my mum had had a heart attack recently and I was trying to do something nice for my husband and I felt attacked by her. She told me “no need to cry”. She was rude and my husband didn’t get his birthday present! So disappointed with both [Names Removed]. I really hope they lose their jobs and learn a great lesson. If they treat me like that, surely they’ve treated others like that. I spent 49 mins of my husbands birthday dinner time outside waiting for a delivery of his present that wasn’t coming because [Names Removed] were upset that I used a cuss word. I can’t believe it, I run a business that uses Star Track for my own business and all my clients. We have had issues with them before but not like this. I feel so personally attacked and disrespected. They didn’t value my time or my husbands and treated us like trash. I strongly advise that no one use them ever! Do not trust them with your goods. They’re criminal.
Consigned two large boxes. Missed first pickup am 21 April. Was on the phone to Star Track when driver called again. Didn't ring doorbell. Third visit at 5pm but driver refused to give me copy of paperwork. Another driver came next morning. Then the consignment disappeared. Eventually admitted consignment lost. One box delivered 29 May! Advised Star Track of consignment number. Still awaiting second.
I am unbelievably impressed with the service received. I have had the pleasure of dealing with StarTrack a handful of times now - great customer service and ridiculously fast delivery.
I am quite shocked at these poor reviews. It's an obvious case of only the bad experiences seeking to complain and not enough of the good experiences making it known.
Horrible service, not even deserve a one star
I am expecting my parcel today (29.04.21). However, I received an sms at 11.21am. saying that I have to go pick up my parcel at the post office. I am extremely upset as I've been awake since 8am. waiting for my parcel but NO ONE EVER RING THE BELL. When I ring StartTrack, they mentioned the driver was trying to deliver the parcel at 10.XXam (The robot mentioned this). I was fully awake, waiting for my parcel in my living room. It is IMPOSSIBLE that I would not hear my door bell if someone EVER ring the bell. I am over 8 months pregnant, not wi...lling to drive to the post office to get my parcel that I never missed but the driver did't do their job and StarTrack doesn't have any solution for this kind of situation, not even offering redelivery. Pretty much like SUCK IT UP with their service. This is the second time that happened to us (we just let it go for the first time) and not only this, their driver often not waiting till the door bell finish but they would wait only for like 3 seconds then left the intercom. Imagine if you were in the middle of something and rushing to get the door bell but you can see no one waiting for you anymore while the ring hasn't even finished ringing. What's the point then? This is not a premium service but the crappiest one.
Typical Australia Post "missing" delivery
Most courier service does not have the luxury of leaving their delivery at the nearest post office, and it shows.
Received an SMS this morning that delivery is coming. Received an SMS an hour ago that they "failed to deliver and left a card at my place". Spoke with the security guard on the ground floor of my apartment and checked my mailbox. No Card. No Delivery.
Just use Australia Post. At least they will give you a card in your mailbox and pretended they have attempted a delivery.
Don't bother with this service. Avoid at all cost....
Terrible.... I wouldn't bother using this service, zero support when trying to resolve an undelivered item issue. Dispatch couldn't care less.
I had some items delivered on 24th March, all boxes were torn open and one item was missing. Delivery drivers told me they would lodge a record of the missing item and to call the distributor if I had not received the item within 2 days. Called the distributor and Startrack dispatch, called the Townsville number and went straight through to head office, the lady on the phone was no help, couldn't even t...ell me who delivered the package and didn't want nothing to do with it. The distributor has been trying to resolve this with Startrack and still no luck. Has been nearly 5 weeks and no word. Stay clear of this company, I have nothing good to say at this point.
May as well just use Australia Post
For many years I was an avid fan of StarTrack "Express", I used to love their overnight or second day deliveries but they no longer exist. I'm less than 100km from my capital city and their deliveries are now 3-5 business days and mail ex east coast capitals for example Melbourne take 8-10 days and has been this way for way too long now.
Questions & Answers
My parcel with tracking number 2GLZ02352802 is listed as onboard for delivery at Mayfield West 7.55am.
As I have had issues with Star track before, I have been vigilantly keeping an eye out.
At 11.10 this morning a blue Star Track van drove down my street and passed my address without stopping.
I would think that if there was to be a delivery to my street apart from myself, they would be delivered at the same time. As I have had the situation where noone has come to the door previously, I am concerned that this package has already been designated for the post office?!
It looks like this was delivered before I got a chance to reply.
so my order says it’s “delivered and left at door” but it’s location says in a place about 2 hours away... I checked my address on the order and it’s all correct??
Hi Ash, Ted here.
Have you got the order's consignment number handy?
Hey There, I just recently ordered a Phone from Vodafone. They sent me a message for the item tracking and it came up with Australia Post. And then it said take a detailed order track and it took me to the StarTrack website. Instantly it said consignment failed to scan. And I was confused I kept checking and it said the same thing. If you need my Tracking Number, ask me in the the replies
