replaced and you would never know it had sustained any damage. The repairman was friendly, on time and knowledgeable about the product. When buying anything from small appliances to large appliances besides factoring in the price, looks etc. we always look at who does the warranty work as often this can be the biggest headache if you need to make a warranty claim. Five stars to Mitsubishi because this warranty claim was seamless from our first interaction with the lady at customer care Mitsubishi Australia through to the repairman.

I don't care. It was not a mistake I made. I bought this fridge because it fulfilled all my requirements.

On a Thursday night, My old fridge dies after 18 years. I need a bigger fridge and I am looking for something

easy clean, accessible freezer, large enough for a platter, good size fruit & veg draws you can see.

No unnecessary draws or compartments. I didn't have much time BUT I looked at a lot of fridges and did research before choosing this one, at

5 pm on a Friday night.

CONS

LARGE-I measured & knew it would not fit in my kitchen! * Buyers should check entry door measurements and kitchen cabinetry.

Cant fit as much in the freezer draws as I first thought.

Tall ice cream containers are like playing Lego at times.

Shelves are not as adjustable as some other fridges.

PROS

4 DOORS making it so easy to put a platter in, or load shopping.

EASY to clean interior.

Glass shelves are easy to clean and make it bright inside.

Great size fruit and vegetable draws.

Freezer draws do mean you don't waste anything by losing it!

Freezer draws are easy clean, less messy and Very accessible.

Lots of lighting.

Quiet.

Black finish on doors is also easy to clean.

Control panel easy to use.

Great temperature control.

I have used it for parties with cakes and platters, adjusted the shelving, no problem.

It beeps at the children, if they leave the door open.

Did I mention I love my fridge?!

the wall of the freezer on the inside. The blood did not go into the vent in the bottom rear left hand side or the fridge. There is no trace of any blood having gone down through the air vent, yet Mitsubishi support say it is user error. It looks like consumer affairs or fair trading are my next stop and then on to the media. Our brand new 2 day old $35k kitchen stinks, I have cleaned the blood up several times but it just keeps seeping out into the freezer from the seem at the very top of the freezer and from the top freezer drawer track. quite fold all the way back and smashes into the opposing door every now and then, I have tried to adjust it but I think it has distorted slightly now, Just be a little aware when shutting the door.

Ok, need to add a few things.

Firstly, I did upload the receipt to prove this was a genuine purchase but for some reason it's not showing as verified! I suppose it helps to prove I'm not just an avid fan or an employee but a true customer that couldn’t ask for anymore.

I decided to contact Mitsubishi regarding the door concern as mention in my original review. The customer service team were no less than awesome, the service guy was great, as soon as he had heard my concern, he said he was contacting a local service agent to come and fix the problem. The call lasted just a couple of minutes, no fuss, no arguments, no hoops to jump through.

Within 7 days I had received a call from the local repairer, they informed me they had just received the new part and would like to come and fit it.

Repairer turned up today, fitted new part and fridge working perfect again, even the repairer praised the Mitsubishi fridge, commenting on how the internal tubing is made out of copper and not the cheaper steel tubing like most of the other brands, this increasing its lifespan beyond those other manufacturers which obviously want you to purchase a new model every now and then.

At the end of the day if you are on here reading this then go buy one. Sometimes things go wrong (that goes for all purchases) but the measure of a good company is how they deal with it and fix the problems that sometimes arise, Mitsubishi could not have improved on their customer service in any way.

door shelves and the 2/5 and 3/5 door sizes allow the most frequently used items to be removed without losing the cooling of the fridge each time the smaller door is opened. The temperature of fridge and freezer can be easily adjusted with a touch control panel and has an Eco mode for efficient energy consumption. The door alarm has 3 levels of alert, and the fridge doors close automatically if left slightly ajar. I would highly recommend this fridge as a smart, un-fussy but stylish fridge with excellent performance.

Best fridge ever – It's black, it's functional, it works perfectly. Fits everything we need. Freezer draws are perfect. Wide fridge shelves are very convenient. Door format is very functional. 2016 Update:

The fridge was replaced,thankfully,although the temperature settings initially were not quite right. Mitsubishi corrected that. It was a slow process getting it right, but the fridge now gets a 4.5/5. It is a great sized fridge to store lots of fresh food.

Below expectations – I brought this fridge about a month ago. clean the shelves all the time as I can't see through the glass shelves. The fruit and vege draw seem to be ok and don't get any condensation. I have contacted Mitsubishi and they made me hold down the front buttons to reset or something but it hasn't worked. I will ring again tomorrow as I think I need a technician to come and have a look.

husband said it would be just a matter of getting use to.after all there is only the 2 of us now and we do have a spare fridge with freezer (although smallish ) in laundry. the new beast arrived. we are about 4 weeks in and loving it. very quiet. very very BIG fridge section. we removed the large crisper to accommodate our 3 litre milk and juice containers. i place vegies in the 2 smaller drawers and the vegies remain very very fresh. I've had a lettuce in there for 3 weeks and it still looks like the day i bought it.I've learnt how to pack the freezer. we removed the ice cube tray which in turn gave us an extra drawer. it's quite forgiving. it lets me keep adding to it and takes it. both fashionable and very sturdy. Too many of the SS ones these days seem to dent so easily. Doors don't hold as much as our older fridge however, the flexibility with the shelving is excellent. Plenty of good storage bins within the fridge as well. Only small issue is with the storage for the eggs but we can work around that. The ice tray in the freezer is brilliant and saves the additional cost (& worry) about 'plumbing in' a fridge. Similarly the individual storage bins in the freezer makes finding things some much easier as you allocate spots for specific items.
