Great reliable TV – I brought the TV at sale price 2017, run out model, it has worked brilliantly ever since. No problem at all and the picture quality is still great. Just getting to the stage of upgrading to the new oled TV’s, this will go into a spare room but very happy with the purchase. Show details ·  1

Great TV for the price – I've had this TV for about 7 years now and it's still working perfectly. I've bought a new Samsung QLED and about to move the older one it to a holiday rental. Show details ·  1

White Circles on screen - a photo – I see another reviewer has commented on white circles appearing on the screen. My TV has done exactly the same thing. Its not that old. This should not be happening Samsung. You need to fix the problem. It seems to be quite widespread. Is Samsung prepared to state on this website that it will repair at no cost its TV's that develop those white circles? I doubt it. I'll be buying something other than Samsung next time.

Features no longer available not so Smart – I really like this tv. It’ has a great quality picture. I’ve had it for years, however, features I was once able to use are just no longer available. For example, I was able to cast to my tv from my phone. Now my iPhone is no longer compatible. Bluetooth is no longer a feature, which I’m super annoyed about. I was once able to connect to… Read more

Bluetooth on it via my phone. It was an option on my bluetooth list of devices. Some sort of update has occurred and now I’m now being told my tv doesn’t come with Bluetooth… can I ask how this so called smart tv actually got dumber? I want to be able to connect my wireless headphones, yet am not able and I just find this really frustrating. Also am not able to access certain apps on this particular model. I have another tv of the same brand, just a different model and have all the apps. Why is it different from model to model. Shouldn’t it be the same access for all apps on all Samsung smart TVs ? Please help me access wireless function. Surely there’s a way!!!

Best TV I've ever had – This TV has been an absolute delight. It has a great Tizen powered smart HUB with everything from Stan, Netflix, and Foxtel to Amazon Prime, Tubi and Google Play Movies & TV. So you're spoiled for choice for movies and shows. The TV even allows recording regular TV to USB devices with the ability to even schedule recordings based on series. It… Read more

even has a dual-tuner so you can still watch a different channel while recording your TV shows. The picture quality is really good and really noticeable when playing the latest games. The input lag is also low when in game mode making this a great choice for gamers. It doesn't just look good though, it also has great soundbar support through HDMI ARC with support for both Dolby and DTS standards or can even up-mix stereo to surround with DTS Neo2:5. It also offers a wealth of settings for both picture and sound so you can tune it to perfectly match what you want from it. To top all this off, it even powers on and off super quickly. This really is my TV of choice.

Another excellent Samsung TV – I bought this through a Choice recommendation. In the shop it looked like the Panasonic beside it was better, but it may have been set up differently so did not want to be led astray by the subjectivity of a shop experience. The technical testing of Choice is always the best thing to fall back on. I am glad I stayed with the facts rather than… Read more

the feelings. Now it is set up at home I'm happy with the picture and features in general. In some ways I'm a little overwhelmed by all it can do. It can be hard to find the time to really look at all the possibilities. I know it can save programmes to a USB stick but find it is rather fiddly to do. You really need to be a dedicated TV freak to have the time to really get the most out of what this TV can do. The speakers are fine. I'm happy with the available ports, but I'm not connecting it to a stereo or other media items, except for the wifi for catchup applications. The catchup system works well I do have to say.

Had the purple patches but – This TV is still serving me great as a PC monitor after many years, it gets used many hours every day! Pretty decent tv – I bought this tv from Jb hifi for around $800-$900. The reason I bought it was since it was a Samsung product and has 4k with a cheaper price tag. However after awhile I saw rings forming on the screen when lighter colours are shown which was disappointing. Other than that it seems like a decent 4k tv which I still use till today. The gaming mode it is also handy when I play on my console which reduced the lag but lowers the fps. Show details ·  1

Last Samsung I will buy – TV only 5 years old. Worked one day. No picture the next day. Contacted Samsung via their chat line and after over an hour talking with them I was told that they could do nothing for me. Waste of money, will never buy Samsung TV again – I have only had it for about 5 years and in about 3 years once it stopped turning on. I contacted Samsung service centre Sibnet, even though the warranty time (2 years) was over, they fixed it for me with no charge. Bur I was very disappointed for this to happen to a 3-year old TV. You would expect 995$ should work much longer than that. Now again… Read more

another problem, the picture became darker on the left side and the picture was ghosting on the left side, now it has become worse the whole picture is running horizontally. I feel really disappointed.

Got in touch with a service center, they told me "The repair would require the replacement of the LCD panel, however these are no longer available for your model.". So basically I have to throw my TV out. The only thing I am happy about is the good customer service from SIBNet, other than that my TV was absolute waste of money.

Not good enough Samsung – Samsung oroducts used to be great and lasted a long time. This tv has developed white circles on the screen after about 4 years and this is repairable but cost is about $ 300 and I personally cannot afford that on a pensioner budget. I am a bit sus about samsung products now and will have to look at what I buy as a new mobile later this year- Samsung or their rival.

disappointed with their lack of service.

Samsung TV does not update software just like their smartphones, what you get on the purchase day is basically what you get functional wise, no useful future software update.

I wish Samsung could include Apple TV+ in their updates or TV app store, but NO.

Just lost all channels??? – I bought this TV about 3 years ago and like all the other Samsung's I've had/have it was pretty good, until one day when I turned it on and there was no reception. At first I thought it may have been a problem with the antenna so I tried it on another that was working with another TV but still nothing. I believe this was around 1400$ so I feel it should have lasted longer than it did. Show details

Worst experience ever... Isn't a TV supposed to last more than a few years? – After approximately 4 years, all of a sudden, the colours on half of the screen appeared washed out, I thought, I'll keep using it and see what happen. A couple of weeks later, the expensive Samsung TV turned into an expensive radio! No picture only sound. For this kind of money, you'd expect it to last at least five years. I lost the receipt and… Read more

Samsung's service, the worst ever, on the Philippines, was impossible to convince to let me talk to someone in Australia to discuss the extended warranty which the Australian consumer law guarantees. I know the people answering the phone in the Philippines know nothing but it is a lousy customer service, or rather no service at all. Samsung will happily sell you their TV, when it comes to fixing it, should you lose the receipt, even though they can identify its age by the product number, you will have to throw the TV out the window. Actually, I will try to sell it for parts on eBay. Maybe you will have to, too.
