Never again – Washes ok, had to have pump replaced after 2 years, don't even bother with the dryer its completely useless, had to buy a tumble dryer. Hard to clean door seal and it's sometimes smelly. Has lately started knocking on spin cycle so after reading other reviews I'm waiting for it to die. Rubbish In A Metal Box! – I bought it 2nd hand, during first wash it stopped turned off & now I can't turn it on. even with brand new stuff, these big greedy companies making all sorts of products that are made to only last 3 or 4 years!! It's disgusting GREED!!! They put in cheap resistors & transistors & weak surge filters & thin weak plastic or weak metal parts that they know will rust or corrode or break within 3 years, so they can sell more of their rubbish that doesn't last, not like in the old days where everything used to last for like 30 years or more and that was normal but no, the big greedy companies don't want that, no they make it to fail in a few years so we all have to buy more all the time & replace stuff all the time!!! Governments should make it law that products must carry a working life label that shows in years how long the product will last, so 3 years, or 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 years should be on the box so customers can decide what to buy without these current RIP OFFS!! Then most of the greedy shonks will probably go out of business if they have to tell the truth & can't pull a swifty on the consumers & their business competitors. It is DISGUSTING!!

A family risk – Discontinued but not before ripping of their money. A complete waste of money, time and life risk that is what it is. They pass on service to Appliance online Service in Sydney which does not care and neither has trained staff who can satisfactory attend to repairs. This machine has all the electric wires and display panel at the bottom of the machine scattered all over loose/uncovered posing fire/shock hazards.

WD-J1255C Has died finally – We brought this machine back in 2009 paid top dollar for it, the pump packed up after 11 months, they came out to fix it then it had a water leak they fixed it again. Now 5 years later it won't power up...... well samsung good on other stuff, just not on this model front loader! Worst Washer Dryer Ever Made – Broke down exactly as someone else described with loud banging and knocking and had to have drum replaced. It takes more than 5 hours to wash and dry a small load and even then it is still damp. They are not practical and not reliable at all. I agree with everyone elses comments - dont buy one of these. Nothing at all is a pro with this machine Too slow, takes too long for a wash & dry load, has had drum replaced safter very minimal use.

has broken down four times in four years with the same issue each time - won't drain or spin. I have to drain the machine manually so it will then go through the spin cycle. The repairer has replaced the same part each time and tells me it shouldn't happen again. WRONG!! I'm lucky I bought an extended warranty with the machine so I haven't had to pay for repairs. I plan on buying a new machine when the extended warranty runs out next year and I definitely will not waste my money on another Samsung product. Horrible – I recently used this machine in a self-contained apartment - WOW - what a piece of rubbish. It literally took 12 HOURS!! to almost finish ( I gave up waiting) to do one load of washing then dry it. Seriously, 12 hours. I was stunned. to do an extra wash cycle for the softener and put it in the detergent section. Too many problems for this piece of junk! Shell looks good....that is about it! - Cycles for both washer and dryer take too long! - Clothes sometimes come out stinky! - Dryer doesn't fully dry a load! - The sound for when it is finished is way too long and annoying! - Fabric softener compartment doesn't drain! - Cannot clean the dirt from the door seal and the detergent holder!

Terrible – We are waiting for Samsung to refund our money - we are told it will only be a matter of days. Variety of quick washes. We wanted a WD Combo to save on space in our laundry. We have had 9 service calls in 18 months - not really what anyone wants. 8 of those are for the dryer. Almost all the parts have been replaced and it still doesn't work!

Terrible – overall one star is being generous. This is the worst machine I have ever used in my life. And the idea to say that it is a combo washer dryer is just a joke. negative things about this machine that one could not even come up with anything good about it as the negative over shadow anything this machine could offer. Totally disappointed with this machine - lasted one year after being repaired many times - then replaced with the next model up and we no longer have that now as it also broke down after one year of course dates back to the original machine purchase date which was two years - yes out of warranty two machines in two years not good value for me. This is machines tends to get a bad smell as lint builds up around the rim and its impossible to clean it so you always have a smelly machine. Have used bleach to try to get rid of smell but alas it comes back within a week or so.

not to mention the so called dryer - even after 4 hours your clothes are just hot and very damp. Some would say this is typically of steem dryers - well i hve an LG washer dryer and I now have an LG washer dryer combo and my clothes are dry after one hour.

Ill never buy Samsung again – Washing machines should last more than 4 years. Constantly getting error messages and now I think the pump is dead. The machine doesn't drain. The dryer is pretty much useless, like other people have said, clothes come out HOT and DAMP after a 3 hour cycle, and that's just things like underwear and socks. Ill never buy Samsung again. This is a piece of junk – Just over the warranty 2 years,it started knocking sounds while washing and then progressed to a high pitched sound when in the spin cycle. the display Machine is very quiet, and the controls seem easy to use. The Quick Cycle is good for the quick wash, abd at 1200 Spin Speed the unit is still quiet. The instructions are "very poor", does not explain the dryer function and I assume you can wash and dry in one setting but have yet to discover this function. As I have only just purchased this machine, will see how we go.

Fuzzy logic setting quick and easy to use, great child lock feature for curious preschoolers, spins clothes out well, clothes don't tangle, great for baby clothes very noisy on spin cycle, clothes are very hard and crispy when line dried, the dry cycle is quite long

dryer - they will get toasted. Takes 2 1/2 hours to dry one load of sheets.

- Constantly gets error messages ('OE') during wash cycle due to balance issues even on small load. Has to be switched off and re-started to clear.

- I emailed Samsung to ask what the dryer temp was and what fabrics were safe to put in it. After 6 weeks they wrote to say they were looking into it. Phoned to ask but no-one knew. Said they would get an engineer to call me who never did.

Excellent – the washer dryer combo i found to be so handy, set and forget controles, (my favorite button) great idea with the air wash feature to keep your clothes fresh even after storage. very easy to use, well set out and sturdy controles, fantastic spin cycle and the drier was amazing, dosn't destroy even the softest of cottons. very heavy, small tub in relation to the size rating
