Awesome washing machine but not so good dryer – Bought this as it was the largest kilogram capacity at the time. I didn't really want to get a machine full off electronics as my parents always had kleenmaid products which were all mechanical. Anyways we were in dire need of a washer and it was on special as nobody wanted one this big. 6 years on and it hasn't missed a beat. Never really used… Read more

the dryer function because of the epic time factor. It also didn't seem to have enough water when washing or drying so I googled YouTube and found out you could screw in a pressure switch which made the unit fill up with more water! Winning! Have put this machine through its paces everyday and it's still going strong. Faith in electronic washing machines is building. You just have to make sure you unplug it every time there is a storm in case you fry some kind of circuit board. Washes and rinses good, not too noisy either. Hopefully we'll get more than 10 years out of it.

Don't waste your money – I wish I could rate this machine with zero stars! I was so excited to find this machine looks great, so many functions and huge capacity for a family, I thought perfect WRONG 8hrs to wash & dry that's outrageous, clothes still damp after that duration and once I got then out they were so crumpled it looks as though they have been sitting in a pile on the floor for weeks so now have to iron them all!  Show details

Absolute crap11 – Bought my machine from costco thinking we bought ourselves a great product a washer/dryer combo just what I needed as this was my 3rd washing machine and 3rd dryer but was I wrong !! Washer works well but when I first bought it home it was super quiet but now after having it for a few years it's so noisy when it starts to spin. Big mistake buying this machine now I have to contact samsung to see what I can do.

Piece of junk! – Washer works fine, dryer does not dry. Samsung refuses to take any responsibility after dealing with them for 5 months. They say nothing is wrong with it because there's no fault code but I think I know when my clothes are wet! Don't waste your money because you won't get it back from Samsung!! I don't understand how there was never a recall when… Read more

so many people have the same problem! My heating element was found corroded but still didn't fix the problem.

Does not dry clothes – This machine does not dry clothes, when a "samsung" technician came he told us, there is nothing wrong with this machine, if it won't dry you'll just have to try different settings. Isn't that like saying if car doesn't work, drive it in reverse? Fighting with Samsung again, as they want to send another technician (a samsung one of course) and… Read more

charge us for it if they again say nothing is wrong with it. I won't pay them for it because they said the first time it passed all its tests. I want this junk out of my house. Working with "gigues" where we bought it to get it resolved.

Worst machine ever – I have had it serviced already 4 times since I bought it! It's a waste of money! Doesn't dry clothes properly and takes forever! What happens when the warranty runs out! How much is it gonna cost me to fix it

Rubbish!!! Won't dry clothes – Ridiculously long washing and drying cycles, at the end of which the clothes are still not dry. Samsung sent out a technician that was useless, had no idea and just stared at the machine. Paid top dollar for premium machine that doesn't dry clothes. Had a LG washer dryer for 5yrs with the same condenser drying technology and it worked… Read more

brilliantly! Wish I didn't sell it along with my property at the time. Samsung is absolute rubbish at washer dryers. Nothing, absolutely hate this machine Doesn't dry, excessive long cycles

We fought to return our Samsung – We fought tooth and nail to return our Samsung.. Goodguys were great and took up the fight after a Samsung Rep blamed the Good Guys selling team for misleading us that this machine would actually dry our clothes!!! Apparently the sales people are supposed to explain that condensor dryers dont actually dry!!! We switched to the two seperate Asko… Read more

Shockingly great – So last year we bought a 4k pair of "elite" Asko washer and dryers. Very simple to use, and the marketing hype was totally there, catering to those who want to spend their money on quality, and prestige, yuppies who have the means to do so. So they grabbed us but hard. What a mistake. Two replacements, and junk. Leaking, stopping randomly, just… Read more ·  5

the most unreliable electronics I've ever owned. While deciding what to replace with, the next obvious choice was Miele, and we were nearly there. Although overpriced, they fit us well. But an extreme let down with their sales customer service left us just hanging. So we needed to act quick, and a few reviews, research etc led us to this Samsung WD1102XVM. It's great looking, albeit plasticky. But great looks. Went to HN and saw it while we were looking at others. I liked as it reminded me of back in North America, huge machines vs mostly tiny ones here. Was nervous to plunk down money on a washer/dryer combo, never have owned one before. But a few years back when Samsung released the then new 8000 series LED TVs for 6K we bought one and its been perfect. So we said what the heck.

Asked the salesman a few things. Wanted a better price as retail is 2599, and they have it at 1899. I said 1899 with the 5 yr replacement warranty and delivery tonight and I'd hand over the credit card. He said done, and threw in 12kg of OMO which should have been just 6kg as we didn't buy two appliances to get the 12. So paid and went on our way, hoping I made the right decision.

And I'll say I think we did. Did my first load tonight and honestly was more than shocked at the silence. I thought our Askos (with the direct drive induction motor as well) was silent, this eclipsed it by far. And even quieter than the Mieles we looked at. And the most shocking the dryer! Are you serious a dryer can be that silent, I thought it was broken, I had to even open the door and check for heat, it was hot alright. WOW....

I've seen people complain oh it takes too long blah blah. But it doesn't. In an Asko washer, 3 hrs for an auto wash, plus about 3 hours to dry in a condensing dryer. So that's 6 hours, with the hassle of moving the clothes from washer to dryer. This Samsung, 2 hrs to wash, and roughly 4 to dry. And it drys the clothes like any condenser dryer, they feel slightly damp when you take them out, but once the heat dissipates they are dry. I think people coming from a vented dryer don't understand how these work.

Perfect. Love it. And saved a ton of money over the hyped up Mieles. Glad we chose this one and would recommend to anyone. Everything, not having to clean a lint filter!! Not having to move clothes from one machine to another!! Wish there were more actual metal vs plastic bits

Won't dry clothes – Very unhappy, pay a load of money for their elite model and no good came out off it. We had it for 2 months before the dryer part stops working, after 6 drying cycles the clothes still turn out moist and we only had my baby s 2 pairs of body suits in their, Samsung sent someone out to see but then decided to replace the unit, 1 week later there… Read more

was a loud bearing noise coming out of that one so they replaced it again, then to top it off 2 weeks later that one happened to not dry clothes either(same issue as the first one we had) so we went back to the seller and they gave us a full refund. At that stage the Samsung rep was down and was trying to tell us that the condenser dryers only dry 3/4s of the way threw so I said to him if its like that what's the point of a dryer and also why does it state cupboard dry and that on the unit. He had nothing to say. So now were going to buy a separate sensor dryer and back to using our old washing machine (for washing only). Would not recommended this after getting 3 and there all stuffed.

I cant stop raving about it – I LOVE this machine - we brought it at the Boxing day sales and i cannot recommend it enough. At first it used to vibrate a little but then we realised we just had to tighten the legs with the spanner. The machine itself is larger than other washer/dryer combos and it was a bit of a tight squeeze getting it into our laundry but well worth it. Its… Read more ·  1

a 10kg washer & 7kg dryer. I mainly wash on the 29 min quick wash cycle - it does the job perfectly. Depending what setting you use is how long the machine takes. I wash/dry the husbands work clothes and it only takes an hour. Doona/sheets and bedding from start to finish washer/dryer is about 4-5 hours. Yes that's long but i put it in - go out and forget about it - i shouldn't swap it for the world. Washer/dryer combo - washes perfectly in 29 minutes. 10kg and fits everything from doonas to blankets to a whole machine filled with towels Slightly larger than other machines

This product is rubbish – I'm NOT impressed with this machine at all.. It worked GREAT for all of 2 months if your lucky, then the heating element went in it. That was then replaced and not even 2 weeks after it's stopped drying the clothes yet again.. Even if u put 3 items in the machine to dry (small items at that).. I would NEVER recommend this machine to any one..… Read more

This is just perfect! Love it – This is the most amazing machine yet. Unbelievable wash and the load don't matter how big upto 10 kg to small it has never disappointed me. I would recommend this to the whole world. I'm inlove with it. The only thing. Because it's all in one dryer ( how convenient) i leave the draw open an inch to dry. Not required as it has it's own inbuilt fan… Read more ·  3

Great washing machine – Great washing machine, does what it states, we have had it for about 3 months and cant be happier. it a bit on the expensive side but if you take into account its a condenser dryer as well the price isn't all that bad. it is a very deep and high washing machine over 1000mm height so check you have the space Cleans well, water usage, only need a… Read more ·  1

Very disappointed – At first I thought it was great but it takes forever to do any washing and god forbid if you set it to dry its all day for one load after 3 months the dryer part stopped working altogether luckily I had kept my old one.
