the doors are opened and closed constantly and the ice maker and water are always in use. I like the large crisper drawers and the full width drawer that I use for deli items. Fruit, vegetables, cheeses and hams seem to last well and drinks are always cold. It seems to keep the various fridge areas/compartments at a steady and appropriate temperature,

The large pull out freezer drawer is great.

The only negative I have for this fridge is the smaller inner drawer in the freezer. It is not fully extendable and makes it difficult to reach items at the back of it.

The fridge is quite easy to clean as the drawers and shelves are easily removed and the glass and metal finishes wipe clean with ease. The glass shelves have shown signs of scratches over the years though.

The freezer is much more difficult to clean. I don't know if the freezer drawers are removable and have only ever been able to wipe them clean as they are.

It runs quietly except for the sound it makes when it's dropping the ice cubes into the tray or drawing more water into the I ice maker which is only a matter of seconds anyway.

I would be very happy to recommend this fridge to anyone.

I have only ever had one problem over the years and that was pooling of water under the large deli drawer. I figured it must have been a blocked drain which had frozen over. I cleaned this out and it has been fine since.

What a Fridge! – We've only had our Samsung for a week it replaced a side by side fridge, we love it. I can see all my produce now that I have lots of room, great crisper x 2, fantastic deli shelf and freezer. yet as it needs to be plumbed we have to go through the wall as our sink is on the opposite side of the room. Just one question it makes a loudish buzzing sound now and then, is this the ice maker trying to work? and can it be disabled if so?

PS will try the chux cloth and few drops of baby oil as suggested earlier to clean the stainless doors (sides are silver vinyl finish) but still magnetised.

PPS bought it at Retrovision, quoted Goodguys price they matched it and also gave us $3000.00 worth of travel vouchers ring and check if the deal is still going!!! Spacious, Adjustable Shelving, Great Deli Draw and Freezer. Nothing so far

Nothing that I would complain about. You can turn the ice making function off and that would resolve that issue. Overall fridge running noise is as expected (same as our old 500l Kelvinator). The fridge was cheap, well $2000 delivered, and looks great. Storage both up top and in the freezer is exceptional. A lot of thought has been put into the Interior layout. Much more than any of the other well known brands. We ended up installing the behemoth into a standard fridge depth cavity and it sticks out around 200mm which is no issue. Still looks great. Size, layout, capacity, ease of installation Does not fit through any normal entrance door. You're going to need (double) sliding doors. We had no issue, but delivery man said that he had lots of returns due to not fitting in peoples houses.

- A bit plastic inside, lots of thin plastic moving things just waiting to break

- Freezer isn't the most practical and the drawers are a bit restricted.

Conclusion

- It looked to be one of the better fridge/freezers of its type in the store

- Am really liking it so far

- A little worried about the faults that have been mentioned in other reviews but experienced none so far.

At the moment, fantastic – We have come from a Maytag, needed a bigger fridge freezer. The water and ice is great for the young kids. So far is going well. Probably not as robust as last fridge. But great lighting and very versatile for storage.

be a great brand however we are very dissatisfied and disappointed in our choice of brands. After all this was not a cheap purchase and was supposed to last at least 10 yrs.

Great look and size but unfortunately constantly leaks water and freezer door freezes shut cause wat – Hard to remove and clean the freezer section, the fridge is a great size and very functional. only had it for 7 years. Meanwhile my old trusty 20 year old Westinghouse which was in the shed which is way too small for my family of 6 is currently doing a much better job.

regret buying it – always leaking water inside drips to the floor, twin cooling forms ice. the $3000 cupboard but gave Samsung a call, They were AWESOME! They said even though it was way out of warranty, they arranged to have it fixed free of charge.....its been 3 weeks and so far....cold fridge, ice being mass produced and no swimming pool in the kitchen

Don't waste your money on rubbish quality fridge – It looks great but it's the worst on quality. turned off at least once a year and left for a couple of days to defrost, the repair bill can be unimaginable. So to top it all up another fridge freezer is required behind the scenes so that you can show off this one.

Internal plastic is weak and has trouble lasting 18 months – They make great TVs, but my Samsung fridge has been a disaster from the 15 month mark. Most of the plastic within it has broken down. slabs of ice from under the freezer drawer. We have bought Samsung TV's and they have been great... we also bought a Samsung vacuum cleaner - and that was a mistake (that's another review!). I wouldn't buy any other Samsung appliance other than a TV in future. This was not a cheap fridge and I expected better.

Terrible Fridge – I have had water pooling inside the veggie compartment and underneath the veggie basket. I have also had a lot of problems with the thermostat in the freezer where it comes off and is extremely hard to put back on. Terrible fridge and would never buy another Samsung as a result

fridge and everything about it accept the fact you had to open both doors to open the deli draw and we used that draw all of the time.

We replaced the fridge with the same brand in the 850lt. Bonus - separate deli draw. And or course bought the extra 5 year warranty, as we had done before.

Don't Buy – Initially good. Then plastic pieces break, leaks water, food frosts, stops making ice - no help from troubleshooting - but good help online from owners. Worst fridge that I have owned. Will avoid Samsung in future. It looked good in the shop. Still looks good, apart from the broken pieces. Unsure what will break or leak next. Worst fridge ever – This is easily the worst fridge on the market for the price tag. Constantly freezes up, water really really slow . Have had a repairer out 4 times in the last year . Looks great but massive design fault as i have been told this by the repairer. Will never buy a samsung fridge again

Around 2 years and almost ready to throw it out! – Dreadful! Around 2 years old fridge - it leaks constantly, and the freezer and the ice maker both freeze up. Great Fridge /Freezer – We've had it over 6 months now. Works really well. Great space and storage, big freezer capacity. Really love it and no troubles so far!! great freezer and fridge – Bought them on sale, at a great price about a year ago. So far I have been really impressed. All the spaces are well organised. The ice-maker works great. However can be a little noisy, if you are not used to it. But it gets better, once you know it'll be there after you take some ice out. So you don't get a scare. There is a lot of flexibility in the way it's organised too. Absolutely loves it. Recommended!! Cheap, huge, flexible space

at $2700. For those concerned about finger prints on the stainless steel doors we just wet a chux cloth with a few drops of baby oil and wipe the doors over and hey presto they are gone.

The freezer draw is a great inovation bringing the food out to a convenient position for easy access with heaps of room for most families and more than enough for a couple.

We highly recommend this fridge but make sure you have room and good access. We particularly like the large capacity and the wide shelf space in the fridge compartment and when compairing with similar french door models we noticed the depth is about 200mm deeper giving you a huge area at the back of the fridge to store your beer negating the need for a seperate beer fridge.The cool select pantry draw is wide enough to take a full bunch of celery before you cut it up and plenty of room for all the other bits and pieces. The overall size of the packaged product made it difficult to fit through doorways and into the lift but the Goodguys delivery team persevered making the $49 delivery fee money well spent. My research prior to purchase revealed there may be warranty or servicing concerns with Samsung but the service we received from the Darwin service centre for a replacement door due to panel damage was exceptional, it took a while but their persistance was appreciated and we were very satisfied in the end.

Good but wouldn't buy again – Great size fridge. Plenty of room to stock all your food, especially love the pull out cool pantry. Ice and water dispenser is a plus and the freezer space is so huge we could turn off our downstairs chest freezer. My biggest gripe is how noisy it is. a day. The sound ranges from a small pop too a loud crack that can be heard down the other end of the house at night. I'm thinking about ringing tech support about it but it states in the manual the fridge will make a clicking sound from time to time. If only it was from time to time and not 2-3 times every hour.

Due to the noise I would definitely not buy again. My last fridge would pop occasionally, maybe 1 or 2 times a day. I guess I will eventually get use to it but at the time of writing this review its a constant annoyance.

One other thing to note is this bad boy is huge so make sure you don't have a cramped kitchen or you will be regretting your purchase. Internal storage of fridge and freezer (its huge). Water and ice dispencer. Pull out cool pantry is awesome for meats and other produce, keeps things especially fresh. Crispers are huge. Rearrange shelves to suit. Its so noisey. Its huge and looks smaller in the showroom but massive in your house so take measurements and make sure its going to fit. The water dispenser temperature fluctuates, sometimes it comes out really cold and other times just above ambient.
