The registry is horrible – I created a baby registry on Baby Zone Direct so that friends and family from overseas could purchase items we would need and use.
Setting up a registry is quite easy, but using the registry is not! I sent a link to my registry to my friends and family so that in theory they could choose an item that they liked a purchase it. Then the registry should have simplified purchasing the item by providing my address automatically and update the registry to indicate that the item had already been purchased. More than half the time my friends and family started from the registry, but ended up purchasing the item from my registry but not through my registry, so they had to provide my address and the registry was not updated. I believe my loved ones were transfered away from the registry when they clicked on the item for a description. Needless to say, I received duplicates of some items.
Also Baby Zone Direct does not provide any details of who purchased the item for you. The purchaser must buy a card for you and write a message, otherwise it's anyone's guess who sent the gift. We received about 7 items without names and are still trying to figure out who sent some of them!
As with many of the other reviews, my loved ones also told me they did not get confirmation emails of purchases, but their accounts were debited. Online registry that allows international purchasers Registry is very poorly set up
