Very effective and a lot of fun! – I love my Breville Food Processor. I have only had it for about a month, but it makes very quick work out of mixing simple cake batters, pesto sauce, and the smoothest cheesecake mixtures. The accompanying attachments are excellent and all are extremely effective. The chipping blade is a lot of fun, and the grating disc destroys parmesan in seconds.

I found this advertised online at Powerbuys for $379, which Harvey Norman were able to match for me. Quad-blade shreds everything in seconds and manages to reach all the ingredients in one foul swoop. Solid construction, extra-wide feed chute, very sleek appearance. Has the best 'box of goodies' to hold all the attachments, including all the discs, blades and spatula. Operates quietly, and remains very stable. The included mini-bowl is very good for smaller loads: I have used it to desiccate coconut. Motor seems powerful enough to handle anything, and automatically adjusts its speed if under strain. The cord can be pushed into the base, but does not retract automatically - it feels like you are forcing it too hard, even though it is designed as such. The quad-blade seems to put more strain on the motor than normal blade system: a thick cake batter caused the motor to adjust its speed until I thinned the mixture a little.
