Dyson brand speaks for itself - Perfect! – I was really over normal pedestal fans - always seeing dust. The dyson works perfectly next to ajar window in the evening, drawing in the cool air. It's very easy to clean - just wipe over with a damp cloth. It has a remote control with the speed, swivel control and power on/off. Great for when your half asleep and want to turn the fan off. We are really enjoying just have a light air flow without being blown away with your normal ped fan's only have 5 speeds. The dyson has a turn dial resulting in whatever speed you would like.

Yes it is expensive in the FAN category however it's well worth it. Quiet, versatile and a beautiful stylish fan The blue power light is really bright at night and a bit expensive
