Breaks pass warranty period – Pass the one year warranty period, screen stopped working. we still continue using it- it was still doing the cycles but we had no idea what stage of the process it was. Recently (Just pass the 3 years mark)it stopped spinning- not functional anymore. I have read some feedback about the products and it seems to be happening to quite a few people. I will see how this enfolds with Marina else I will take the issue to the ombudsman office. This should not happen to anyone else anymore. I will keep all the readers posted on the matter. If there are so many problems with that model it should be recalled.

I have just had the problem of the computer panel apparently seizing on my electrolus f/l washer 2 months out of warranty and they would not be responsible for it...... after 2 weeks of backwards and forwardsing with them and the repairer i found out from a friend with the same prob that there is a RESET CODE..... that electrolux denies existing and once i entered this code my washer now works perfectly........I am so angry, they lied straight to my face and were happy for me to go and buy a new machine or charge me hundreds of dollars to repair the part when it actually works fine. I am disgusted at the dishonesty of this company and would never purchase anything from them ever again

So yes Marina did contact me and as Disappointed_Customer mentioned in his previous post. "The standard message from Maria M from Electrolux. once you send them a reply, they will ask for the warranty and the warranty has finished few months back. All problem starts after the warranty period. I have contacted Electrolux when i had this problem and they said, there will be $85 service call charge and there after charges for any parts replacements..." Except this time the service charge is $95! + $35 every 15 mins.

Ok so they say the technician will come to determine whether the problem is from wear and tear or a technical problem. She said that different parts have different lifespan!! Seriously??? This is a very serious problem I intend to take the issue to the ombudsman office to find out what they can do. This is such a massive discrepancy which disadvantages the customers! The amount of money we customers spend on that product and the disappointment in the service and the product is too huge to be ignored. If anyone wants to back me up at the ombudsman office do contact me on denleparain@gmail.com. This product should be recall until a proper warranty for all parts is acceptable.
