Warning: Live electrical current passes through body – It took me a couple of months to finally figure out the strange phenomenon that was occurring when my children would come and wake me up in the morning. When one of my children stood next to my bed and touched me to wake me up, we would both feel a frightening (although not painful) vibration on the skin with a humming feeling like... "vvvvv". It's hard to describe. I was concerned and puzzled. After it happened a few times, it occurred to me it could be the electricity in my Kingdom fitted electric blanket. My kids and I did a few tests and realised it was happening whenever I was in or on the bed and they were standing on the floor (ie "grounded"). It also happened when the blanket was turned off but still plugged into the powerpoint. When I realised I had been sleeping with electicity going through me, I was horrified! I am so cross that these dodgy products are available in Australia. I have just located my Receipt and intend to return it to Harris Scarfe this weekend.
