Great Idea, Terrible execution – First off I'm not a Kogan hater, I have one of their TVs which has been brilliant. I bought a thermoblend during their boxing day sale for $200 got the 5 year extended warranty. For the price I thought it was too good to be true considering a thermomix is up around the $2k mark. Was looking forward to getting it and making heaps of nice food. First use worked fine all good, on second use put ingredients in turned on, when finished nothing was mixed, tried again and noticed blade wasn't spinning. Took jug off and inspected blade, the gear that drives the blade had stripped it thread and would no longer drive the blade.
On the positive side Kogan although a bit slow and having to wait on the phone for 40min were happy to take it back, although refund took another 2 weeks.
Saw another similar product in Good Guys the ThermoFoodPro Superchef. I decided to buy despite being a bit dearer, had it for about 2 weeks now, we have made tons of receipes cakes, rissotto, soup, almond milk, etc hasn't missed a beat. Price. Refund process simple. Died after 2 uses
