Techbuy Review – I have dealt with Techbuy on and off over the past three years for all manner of tech products. A full system, individual part upgrades, phone and tablet accessories/cases and printer toner. They are convenient because of their large range and fairly reasonable freight. They are interstate to me but quite often end up being cheaper than their local competitors for freight, especially on orders that contain one product. This is due to their cheap interstate freight options and lack of credit card fees.

Techbuy let themselves down in some places, primarily not marking products obviously enough when they are not available. I have had two orders (our of ~25) delayed because the product was not available when I placed my order. I now know where to look when ordering but for a new customer the obviousness could be lacking somewhat. Techbuy: This is the main reason for the four star review.

I cannot comment on communication because I always phone when ordering from them (or elsewhere) to confirm my order. The Techbuy staff are generally polite and efficient on the phone.

Techbuy built my recent new computer in good time and delivered quickly. It was well packed and arrived in good condition. I was offered an alternative part when the one I had selected was not available straight away which was appreciated.

I would recommend them to a friend, on the proviso that I could educate them about product availability. Large range, affordable freight Product availability online needs work
