Can't recommend Travel Insurance Direct highly enough – I have been using Travel Insurance Direct for the past five years and have had to make a few claims during these trips. Every claim has been processed promptly and efficiently without any unnecessary questions from TID. I cannot recommend them highly enough and tell any friends and family looking for travel insurance to seriously consider TID. Their quotes are usually more competitive than other insurance companies. Prompt, professional, helpful and friendly staff, very good quotes.

In response to Geraldine's comment that my recommendation of TID was possibly fabricated, let me assure you that in no way am I linked to TID apart from buying travel insurance from them. My comments are genuine and yes, because of my positive experiences with TID I am enthusiastic about them. I only wish other insurance companies I have dealt with in the past had been half as helpful as TID. Unfortunately I have found from personal experience that some insurance companies will go to great lengths to avoid paying genuine claims, unlike TID.
