credit. We had a slight hiccup towards the end re flooring but we resolved it by coming to a compromise (which was at our cost). Although we acted in good faith in relation to this scenario, we regret doing this as we identified some items during our 90 day warranty period which are being rejected by Wisdom despite being claims falling under the Home Building Act. We could sit back and compromise at our cost again, but we wont be doing so this time. We'll be taking it to fair trading and all the way to the relevant tribunal if required. Their general counsel thinks he's a big dog threatening everybody with legal costs because he's scared of having to do a little bit of work defending Wisdom.

Reassurance – What a relief when you come in contact with professionals. Its good customer service, the problem was investigated and fixed, simple as that. Fixed in a professional manner. process of picking out things and colours a real debacle, with things being missed or not explained properly. Too much paper work too sign and had a few issues with items actually ordered and colours. Some senior management were ok to deal with others no so much. The worst experience was after the build a d when they have to come to fix things. It was very obvious that once they get their money they don't really want to deal with you to get things fixed. The person in their maintenance corey was a real tool to deal with. We spent so much money building the house. The front door has water come underneath when it rains to this day. The skirting on the bottom give way in most places. Handles come loose or totally came off and the maintenance guy just did not get along with the supervisors we escalated too. For such a big company there is a lot of inconsistency with there service through out the different team. When you are going through things and choosing things people should have understanding to appropriately guide the customer. Maintenance Team need to understand and listen to the customer and not just wash their hands with everything.

independently inspected and were pleased to find only a handful of minor defects, all of which were promptly addressed.

A significant part of our positive experience has been our interaction with the site supervisor, David Luc. David has been exceptional throughout the process. He has always been contactable when we have needed him, has promptly arranged trades and rectification works as required, and has personally attended the home to oversee the works and ensure everything has been completed to an acceptable standard.

What has stood out most is David's commitment to minimising disruption to our family and, importantly, providing reassurance that everything is under control. His communication, responsiveness, attention to detail and genuine commitment to getting things right are exactly what you want from someone coordinating a build.

David is an absolute asset to Wisdom Homes and deserves to be recognised for the professionalism and care he brings to his role. We feel very fortunate to have had him looking after our home and would have no hesitation in recommending both David and Wisdom Homes to others.

We have loved every minute of our new Wisdom home since moving in late 2025. Actron to visit and fix the vent, and followed up with a Wisdom maintenance person to check and touch up the surrounding area within a very short time frame. Whilst on site, he even noticed some 'defects' we'd never noticed and offered to fix them up while he was here. "If this was my house, I'd want that touched up". Exceptional service.

Every person we've dealt with at Wisdom, from the sales reps through to the warranty, have gone over and above to ensure our experience is positive and smooth. They are professional and friendly. I couldn't recommend Wisdom highly enough as a company committed to customer service.

selection experience was a positive exception. Jessica was lovely to work with she listened carefully to our requirements, offered helpful suggestions and guided us through the selections. As our bank pre-approval was approaching its expiry date, the team also expedited the necessary work so we could secure formal loan approval in time.

However, communication with our initially allocated pre-construction coordinator remained frustrating. We sometimes went weeks without an update, and repeated calls and emails went unanswered. By that stage, we were extremely disappointed with the overall process.

Everything changed when Sarah Duffield was assigned as our pre-construction coordinator. Sarah was prompt, professional and transparent from the beginning. She provided frequent updates, clearly explained where everything stood and meticulously answered every question we raised.

We were concerned that construction might not begin before August 2026, after which our contract allowed for possible price changes. Sarah understood our concerns and worked tirelessly to keep everything moving. Through her dedication and consistent follow up, the outstanding pre-construction items progressed much more quickly, allowing us to complete the pre-construction phase by the end of June.

Sarah genuinely restored our confidence in Wisdom Homes. Without her involvement, based on our earlier experience, we would not have felt comfortable recommending the company to others. Her commitment, communication and attention to detail made an enormous difference, and Wisdom Homes is very fortunate to have her.

David was great throughout the build. The quality of the home has come out very well and communication was 10/10 We always knew where our job was up to and what comes next through his weekly updates. What a terrible builder. They said us they will provide Aircon that should have capacity to cool down all house. We found that they provided very basic Aircon, that doesn’t have the ability to cool down full house at the same time. Also the house was harded over very dirty condition. Furthermore, they had already taken a 25% profit margin during the selection process. Despite informing them that I was unable to proceed with the construction due to unavoidable circumstances, and requesting a refund of the $6,500—given that they had already profited from the selections—they refused to return even a single cent.

Overall, my experience has been highly disappointing, and I strongly advise others to consider these issues before committing.

When we decided to build with Wisdom Homes we looked at the reviews. There were many with 5-stars and a few with 1-star. Sadly, we feel a 1-star review is warranted from us. We did not even get as far as signing the tender.
