the noise they sound more like the big tread tyres you find on serious 4x4s. The next thing I noticed was the slow steering which gradually got better as the tyres wore in. They have lasted for 70000 kms when I changed them for Toyo Proxies but intend to get another set of Nankangs for winter as I live in an alpine area and these are great in snow.
