"Roasting" mode is selected, not in "Air frying" mode. So no air fried chips with this appliance, only "roasted". The fan works at much lower speed when roasting than when air frying. A big disappointment for me. I have contacted the seller about this, according to him that is how it the appliance was designed.

So don't buy this air fryer if you want one with a rotating basket.

Otherwise the appliance looks pretty ok, I yet have to try it.
