Recently installed the Aquatech X8 heat pump hot water system and have been pretty happy with it so far. I replaced my old gas hot water unit, and… Read more

the installation was smooth and only took around 2 hours.

It’s quieter than I expected. You can hear it if you’re standing nearby when it’s reheating the water, but most of the time it’s actually quite quiet from what I’ve noticed.

I also like the timer function in the app. I set it to run for a few hours during my free daytime electricity period, so it basically costs me nothing to reheat the water.

So far the system feels much more energy efficient compared to my old gas unit, and we’ve had no issues with hot water. Overall, pretty happy with the upgrade.

year, and OK with heating down to the -8 degrees we've seen (although it had to turn off for up to perhaps 20% of the time to defrost the outside unit). The unit has weekly timer control as well as daily, but it is clunky and tricky to set, and needs resetting whenever there is a power failure. HOWEVER it failed after 5 years and 10 months with a seized compressor. The repair cost was about the same as buying a new one, and the warranty service was unable to offer any support as it was beyond the 5 year warranty. Using a moderator service did not produce any change, so it was a waste of my time. To me, such a major equipment failure after such a short time is poor, makes the value for money really bad, and not what a reasonable person would expect. These are why I have given it a low rating - essentially, the company is not prepared to stand behind its product once the 5 year warranty has expired, when you are on your own.

result. However, after reaching out to customer support, I was extremely impressed by the level of service I received. The team responded quickly, took the time to understand the issue, and offered to swap my blender to another one form their range. After adjusting how I was using the blender (including working with colder liquids), I found that it performed much better and delivered the results I was looking for. What really stood out to me was the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. It's rare to find a business that is so responsive and genuinely cares about ensuring customers have a positive experience with their products.

other setting.

I went through the warranty and they sent someone out (who used to work for Mitsubishi and has since started up his on aircon repair business) who couldn't see the problem to start, then saw one small bit of mould and said "ah, that'll do it". He did say it was a bit odd that mould is only in the one area (also this machine is regularly cleaned like all our others) and he basically blamed the sparky for not filling in the wall cavity and that's how the moisture/mould is getting in and what has caused a piece to break?

I have never known mould (which every machine accumulates in QLD regardless how much you clean it) to break a piece inside the machine before. So, I had to pay the call out fee. Now for him to replace the part, ANOTHER call out fee would have to be paid and the labour/parts.

Anyway, its left a sour taste in my mouth and won't be purchasing another Mitsubishi aircon unit again.

We purchased our house in 2023 with a Daikin unit in the living area that must have been cleaned for id say 10 years and that works perfectly, even more so when we had it deep cleaned. Disappointed that a unit so new has developed a broken part due to apparently one spot of mould...

Honestly sounded like the guy just wanted money for his newly started business... never again.

reliably from day one, providing consistent hot water while operating quietly and efficiently.

One of the things we’ve been most impressed with is how easy it is to use. The controls are intuitive, and the unit runs and the noise is barely noticeable. As a household focused on reducing energy consumption, we were looking for a hot water solution that would help lower running costs without compromising performance, and the Haier heat pump appears to deliver exactly that.

It also seems particularly well suited to Australian homes, especially for households with solar power systems. The energy-efficient heat pump technology offers a practical way to reduce electricity usage while maintaining a reliable supply of hot water throughout the year.

Although it’s still early days, our first impressions have been excellent. The build quality feels solid, the performance has met our expectations, and we’re very happy with our decision to choose the Haier Monoblock Heat Pump Water Heater. Based on our experience so far, we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient, modern, and cost-effective hot water solution.

no carpet. Every 5 weeks I clean the vacuum thoroughly as I am a pensioner and cannot afford to keep replacing vacuums. I have really liked the Dyson, strong power, ease of use, light, easy empty and clean, HOWEVER, the Battery died 6 weeks ago and a new battery is $150. I am very upset the battery has lasted less than 4 years but even more upset at the cost of a new battery. Dyson need to understand people in my position cannot afford such high cost to purchase a new battery, therefore will need to investigate a cheaper new vacuum with cheaper parts.very disappointed as I thought my battery would last alot longer and would be cheaper.

Turns out it’s called a blender. Apparently it's not for storing office supplies?? It's for turning solid things into snack soup. Which is honestly insane if you think about it. I’ve since blended: • Ice (it yelled) • A shoe (not recommended) • Some strawberries (very good) • A spoon (it lost) Also, I forgot to put the lid on once and it decorated my entire kitchen in blueberry. My wall now looks like a smoothie crime scene. Anyway, I use it every day now. I’ve had six smoothies, one milkshake, and an accidental gazpacho. My teeth are getting a break and I feel powerful. Would give 6 stars if it had a mute button.

I cannot really overstate just how poorly this product has performed since we purchased it around 3 years ago. Here in S.E Queensland, throughout… Read more

most of the year when its above 30deg it works ok. Not that you really need much hot water during those 6 months of the year. Around mid may every single year. Every morning I hear "There is no hot water again". Every night "There is no hot water again" From my wife and two young kids.

For all the emails and phone calls I have made to try and rectify the problem. The only attempt to do so was to send a plumber out to reset some thermostatic something or rather in the software which did nothing at all.

The only way I have to ensure there is any hot water, is to go out twice a day and make sure it is forced into the on position in either hybrid or hybrid 1 mode.

The 15 year old Saxon this unit replaced probably didnt even get looked at twice in 15 years. Yet here I am baby sitting this POS appliance twice every single day to ensure the missus and kids can have a hot shower when they want one.

All these pics are after the system has run all day long consuming between 6-10kw/h. Considering the old system used around 9kwh per day and we were told this new system would be around 2.5kwh.....

The company that did the installation did a stellar job I might add, Could not fault their workmanship and they tried to assist as much as they could when we started having issues. But Im not going to continue wasting their time trying to rectify an issue with the product itself. The only real option we have going forward is to move to an IStore or go back to a traditional HWS.
