Unfortunately have been told it’s promotional product which sucks because it’s probably the best fan you can buy from Bunnings. LED light is replaceable too.

distracting and renders the light reasonably useless. This is inexcusable in what is a premium priced unit. Solution sought from Brilliant, none has been offered. They have done their level best to avoid a warranty claim, however. Edit: I've been told that this is a product design shortcoming and that an aftermarket filter is available to fix it (for $200). The manufacturer (Brilliant) has shown zero interest in helping or resolving the matter.

The main problem we experienced is the unit's light panel failing, in my opinion due to poor design. The spindle/axle for the fan points down directly over the lighting panel. In our case the extraction fan wasn't able to sufficiently extract moist air (an averaged sized bathroom 2.4mX1.7mX2.3m), with condensation building up on the end and dripping onto the light panel, causing it to fail.
Adding to the issue was Brilliant's denial that the unit was installed in a compliant way, and not even willing to send someone out to inspect it. I had two electricians (including the installer) inspect the placement as per required AS/NS 3000:2018, in addition to multiple Reddit /AusElectricians members, with all confirming it was correctly placed.
After a lot of mucking around Brilliant eventually came to the party when the Qld State Manager got involved (was great service after that).
I strongly discourage anyone from buying this unit.
