dryer eventually failed after 6 years (as did a washing machine at 5 years and dishwasher at 8 years....well and truly no longer 20 year lifespans with their products and lucky to get 10). It was not cost effective to repair any of their products ie, they compel you to repurchase; which we did but a different brand :)

But I take the opportunity to digress!

We finally started using their dishwasher tablets when we ran out of our Finish tablets.

We were given 160 of the Ultra Tabs but after 15 washes we are considering tossing the rest and have bought a pack of our regular Finish tabs in readiness.

The Miele tablets do not provide the same level of clean. Cutlery, plates and pots etc all have, to some degree, remnants of food etc left after the wash.

We wash with the same cycles but find we need to rerun or resort to hand cleaning.

Certainly not world's end but we are glad we didn't buy the Miele Ultra Tabs as they are inferior in our experience.
