Best itechworld Lithium Batteries
Testing and benefit of the 4 x 100AH Lithium Battery with the Itech 2000 watts invertor – 4 x 100AH Lithium Battery and a 2000 watts Itech Invertor. It's been a few months since I did my first review and wanted to update everyone. We have… Read more
just come back from 10 days down south of Western Australia, I found the best thing about the Itech system was how convenient it made traveling. we could pull over in an offroad parking bay, boil a kettle and make a hot toasty sandwich within a few minutes. I also tested the 2000 watts invertor using the caravan air con and it ran the air con for 4 hours which I thought was good.
Drop in replacement for AGM. Works fine – I have installed an iTech 240X Pro in my camper trailer to relace 3 old 105Ah AGM's. I wanted to upgrade to Lithium to save some weight and for… Read more
performance. I am tight for room and the AGM's were installed on their side in a dedicated battery compartment. My existing AC battery charger and DC/DC do not have Lithium charging profiles so I was drawn to the iTech because they claim drop in replacement for AGM's without modification to the charging system. There were a number of people telling me that the iTech batteries are not good and the drop replacement can't work. So I called iTechworld and spoke to both sales and technical support and was convinced that the iTech batteries were worth try. They come with a 5 year warranty and I have written confirmation that my exact set up is suitable and therefore maintains the warranty.
I have now used the new battery on an extended camping trip. It performs as expected. Charging works with all the options that I need including solar panels, vehicle, home power and a generator. The new battery is installed on its side and is charged by an Enerdrive ePro Combi (60A charge current) and a CTek D250S Dual (Chargind Current 20 A).
I am happy with the iTechworld iTech240X Pro battery as a drop in replacement for 3x105Ah AGM's with no modification to any charging equipment.
Always had dramas with their BMS system in these lithium model batteries. I have 3 of these batteries in a boat, two are up front independent in… Read more
series for a 24v electric motor and 1 down back for electronics only. All of them have given me BMS problems at one time or another. One of the wired in series more so. I had previously sent a battery back (can't remember which one) to itech for warranty and testing for these exact problems! and was told it was fine and they sent it back. Still dramas! The BMS sometimes is near impossible to get woken up once it switches off which then renders the electric motor useless. I even bought THEIR 20A charger as it stated on website that it automatically resets the BMS to start charging- well not this bloody battery, I can hook the charger up and another fully charged lithium battery to it and do as specified on their website whilst having a multi meter attached, it states it's supplying charge but battery doesn't seem to take it. Can sit charging for days with no effect. As soon as you disconnect from the charger it goes back to 6.something volts. has caused me all sorts of headaches, so much so I wouldn't recommend their products.. I've got an Invicta lithium start battery for the motor that has never had an issue (3+ yrs) and now have my 6yr old spair 120 lithium battery hooked up in parallel with the other itech and that doesn't give me dramas like the itech did.
