Perfect bike, love it – I really like this bike, it is perfect to ride as this is my first proper mountian bike. The Frame is easy for me to ride and the tyres (kenda small block eights) are grippy. I would recommend the GT stomper 24” for kids between 8-12

This a dream come true – I bought a 2011 GT Zaskar Carbon Team model size large in Sept. 2011. It feels great, I used to work as a messenger for 6 years over here in… Read more

Stockholm, Sweden. I used a GT Zaskar w. disck brakes as my last workbike. The one and only thing I dislike is the RS XX fork that still moves w. locked out. I have read that they do that, but at the time didn't know what to make of it. Something I have to suck up to : ( The big or should I say small chain ring is too small for me, I speed it out at flats and downhills. I had a major problem w. the rear hub/body that was caused by a spring that broke and made it impossible to shift gears. It took for ever to get a spare over here in Sweden, due to the fact that the major supplier when bankrupt in Denmark. I hated the bike for that . . I'm just like a stubborn kid. But today 12/3 2012 I went for a short ride just downtown and back, 40 min. And it works, I don't want to jinx it. If it breaks down again, had to wait for 4 months for the spare, I would go nuts and in a bad way. It's light and stiff. Looks great, but I love Zaskar frames. It's very expensive, but I got a great deal. The RS fork wasn't what I had hoped for and it to forever to get the small spring from the supplier.
