Not bad – This is a nice looking machine and performs well. It makes good soy milk as well as plant Mylks. However I cannot justify its price as I got the same… Read more

results with a high speed blender and a nut milk bag. I thought the soyabella would be much faster and easier to clean but unfortunately getting the protein residue out of parts of the filter cup takes ages. It cost over $300 so no I would not buy it again...even though it makes good plant milk. It’s handy for soy milk cooking or soup making. I am the queen of gadgets, but this is one I really didn’t need. Bought at sales@naturesnutrition.co.nz. Last month. However if you make mainly soy milk and don’t mind a bit of scrubbing time , it’s for you, as it cooks the milk too.

September 6th 2019 Update: Amendment to original review.

Since my original review I have found a much easier way of cleaning the filter in my soyabella....I take it outside and pressure blast the hose right into it (the filter only )close to the tiny holes. This blasts the muck straight out and only takes a minute...so I upped it to 5stars. You can perform this water blasting with a tap in the sink.. but it can make a mess unless you have a large sink. A laundry tub would be ok, but the high pressure garden hose really blasts it out. Another hint...don’t overgrind your nut milks .....the coarser the blend..the less likely that bits will get through the filter.
