Cant fault it – I have been using this kettle on a daily basis on a gas stove, and despite other negative feedback, I cannot fault it. It appears to be well made from quality material. Recommended Show details

difference compared to the other stretchers . Tried many before settling on this . Bit bulky to carry. That’ll be the only drawback.

if you're camping off Grid, put it in the tent, the annex, wherever you want a little more breeze and it's portable, so you can put it anywhere you want it. I think I'll buy another one! Love it.

Great Cargo Bag With a Few Issues – When away camping and the rain soaking everything, I thought I needed a Cargo Bag for the roof. After some research, I went to BCF in Bairnsdale… Read more

where they had this cargo bag. Foremost the cargo bag is in its carry bag which my first impression was that it will never go back in that bag. But, to be fair, I haven't tried to get it back in mainly because the carry bag is great as a shoe bag.

Upon fitting the cargo bag to my roof rack, I found that there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, not game changing but issues nonetheless. Before I mention the issues, I would like to mention that this bag performed excellent, it never leaked even in heavy rain and it is low enough not to be noticed when travelling even at higher speeds. Furthermore, it holds a lot of cargo, we piled it in and it just zipped it up.

Issues – foremost is the quick release straps, they are just long enough that when not clipped together, which you need to do to open the bag. They are precisely the right length to become jammed in any doors they dangle over and when the door is closed it destroys the quick release clip and you cannot buy replacements. Secondly is also to do with the straps and the retaining fabric tubes that keep the straps attached to the bag. The size of these tubes means that if one side of the strap is pulled and the other side isn't attached, the buckle gets pulled into the tube and jams, making it almost impossible to get out again. This happens with amazing regularity because the straps are only just long enough to remain outside these tubes and any slight tension and they disappear inside. The only way to get them out is to push the matching clip into the hole to connect them and pull the buckle out. But, this means releasing the other side to allow some slack and then that side gets pulled in as well.

All that said, once it is clipped on then the cargo bag works well. It just needs a bit of tweaking and some thought to make it a great bag because the material the bag is made from is really nice.

UPDATE* The bag leaks in heavy rain, I don't know where it leaks but it does and that after only 4 or 5 uses.

Inflatables do not seam to last long – Bought from BCF about 3 years ago. We used it for about 10 nights over that period as visitors bed until now when it developed a large split in the top surface. We have tried to patch it but fingers crossed.

could not be turned off (leaking gas) and the the other one would not light. We always keep them clean and dry and it was inside a gazebo and out of the weather. We have been camping for over 40 years and have tried many different stoves. This one is dangerous and ineffective.
