Mostly good earbuds with 1 problem – Purchased these in Dec 2022 for about $259 online. These are my third set of Bluetooth earbuds, having also bought some Samsung, and Jabra buds which… Read more

showed declining battery life after 18 months but were both good in their own ways.

PROS: Excellent full rich sound, even for my old ears. Exceptional battery life, far better than nearly anything else at around 20 hours, with another 20 in the case. Useful app for your phone or tablet with an equaliser etc. Can be used one at a time, which doubles battery life to 40 hours plus 40 in the case, ( good for mono radio or phone but you forego stereo.) Sturdy build and rugged case with charge indicator. Quick connectivity, and can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. All the usual features like hear-through, and isolation of sound.

CONS: Bigger and bulkier than most, though not heavy. Case is also big. I am still having trouble getting a good fit in my left ear, despite using the largest of the 4 sets of supplied earbud rubber tips. I would not trust these if i was running or even walking fast or working out, as the left one would fall out....though perfect for just sitting and listening to tv or a music source.

Conclusion: A great set of top sounding earbuds with extraordinary battery life, with a fitment problem for me in my left ear, which has a large canal. May not be a problem for you, depending on the size of your ear canals. Still much better than my Samsung earbuds, which didnt like connecting to my Samsung tv.(!) And better than my Jabras whoch although brilliant, could not be used singly to double battery life. (Older model.)

Audio-Tecnica In Ear Earphones ATH-CK3TW Disappointing sound quality – I purchased these after reading glowing reviews of their sound quality. The sound quality is probably OK but disappointing none the less for $200.… Read more

They are not as good sounding (to me) as another set of in-ear headphones that I have that cost less than half of these and if I remember correctly not as good as the Airpods I previously owned which you can purchase for a similar price.

Full disclosure; I purchased these with reward points and not cash. In an effort to write a fair review I listened to two different songs and styles (Alex Gaudino - Destination Calabria and Nick Cave - Where The Wild Roses Grow) multiple times. Of course your ear adapts to multiple playing of the same song and the difference between the two seemed to lessen with each playing. However getting back to fist impressions; I was immediately disappointed with the sound from the Audio Technica and my cheaper earphones will be my go-to set.

The base of the Audio-Technica dominates everything so that the trebles appear muted including vocals.

These also don't have an indicator of battery charge in the charge case or the earphones and you cant link it to a phone app (like the Airpods). I didn't think this would be an issue but having an idea of how much battery remains is very convenient.
