We ordered a Taxi to go to San Remo .nsw. Robert TC538 rang and said he would be 5 minutes which he did. I am 85 and he was very caring, carried our groceries and gave us great advice . We could not fault him in any way. It made us realise there are nice and kind people that are willing to help. My name is Julia Kildey and daughters is Devanya Thornton.
Alice Springs Taxis- booked to get picked up from the airport. 30 mins later called again as the Maxi had not arrived. Was advised there was no record of the booking and the only maxi driver had now clocked off. Poor service.
Cab driver drives like a hoon takes the long way to drop off
Not worth the money they charge – Waited over an hour in a town (Alice Springs) where no drive takes longer than 15 minutes; called again and the automated voice said the taxi was 2 minutes away. - 10 minutes later a taxi arrives and he asks if where I was headed to was correct, I said yes, and then he asked me how to get there, I said "you're the driver, you should know". Once in the taxi I could smell faeces and urine, and the state of the interior and exterior of the vehicle looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I asked how often the taxi is cleaned and the driver said everyday, I told him no, this is weeks old build up of bodily fluid and body oils. His remark was "its a racist place", his meaning was because he drives indigenous folk around and they can be quite racist at times, means he doesn't have to keep the car clean. I was disgusted by that comment. Once I arrived at my destination, the total was around $18.00, and I only paid the driver $10 cash because thats what reflects the experience I endured. Afterwards, I filled out a complaint form online and received a call from the manager/owner of the Alice Springs depo (Ann), she spoke to me condescendingly, and after hearing my complaint all she had to say was, "so you didn't pay the fare, we're going to block your number". I said I'll never be using the service again anyway, and that I refuse to pay the premium rate for below par service. Bad customer service, uncleanliness and unhygienic vehicles, and staff that talk about inappropriate subjects to passengers.
Another no-show. Missed flight – Booked taxi for Launceston city to Airport. App showed car 10 mins late then..... gone. No driver assigned. Eventually get a text saying we are still looking for a driver. 4:30 in the morning in Launceston no other options so had to pay for a different flight. It's now 2 hours after my booking time and still nothing. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Show details
Review of taxi companies in Alice Springs – Waited 60 minutes for a taxi to pick me up outside the shopping centre in Alice Springs (Hartley Street) where Woolworths is located. They never turned up, nor did another taxi company I called. Even a taxi rank near one entrance had no more than one taxi, which was already taking a woman somewhere. I had to replace the chilled food I bought.
Reliable and efficient – Booked a taxi with another company who did not show up! Called 131008 and a taxi came asap. Excellent service, thank you.
booking and services dont always watch bold company statements – To book a local taxi, just call 131 008 anywhere in Australia BAHAHA Why advertise a bold statement like that when in actuality its far from the case
Couldn't Cancel – I booked a cab and then things changed so I called back to cancel. There was no ability to do so. I tried calling back three times to find an option to cancel. I also googled a way of cancelling. Nothing. Wasting resources. I felt bad for the driver who would eventually arrive to pick us up but I couldn't do anything about it. A cancel fare option would be great.
Driver was a tripper. Dangerously stupid but entertaining – I didn’t get an Uber because my business provided Cabcharge vouchers, great. What a joke! Do not use – I tried to call a maxi taxi today using 131008. For about 5 minutes I was subjected to automated messages where I gave them all the information needed. It then put me through to an operator who started to ask me all the same questions. When I said “wow”, quietly, she hung up on me. What a joke.
Rude and unreliable – I called a cab for some patrons at my pub, the lady on the other side of the phone told me that’s “unfortunate” when i told them they couldn’t get home
100% unreliable – Booked cab 2.5 hrs in advance, was left waiting only to be told no cabs available. Every time i use this service the cab is normally late or the booking gets stuffed up. I would love to give 0 stars however the lowest rating is one. So 1 star it is..

Abusive driver – Got completely abused by driver! Was driving behind them on my way home. Stopping in the middle of the road to continue yelling and carrying on. Not safe at all! Disgusting unprofessional behaviour!

Daylesford”. We were eventually able to speak to someone who informed us that they don’t take bookings in Daylesford and were unsure of how we made it in the first place. This made us late to our next appointment. This whole interaction was complete unprofessional and disappointing.
Shocking! – PATHETIC! I see the one and only other review is down where it should be, at the very BOTTOM of the list. Twice now I have attempted to report a very dangerous driver who drives for this company and they couldn't care less. one who engages in this behaviour as cabbies are NORMALLY good people, however the attitude of this company to the complaints against this person is pathetic. His fellow drivers agree he is a danger to the public.
UNRELIABLE! – Wednesday evening 22nd January 2020 I phoned to book a taxi for the next morning to get me to the 7.05am Prospector train. January just before 6.30am, I was walking to the entrance of the caravan park when I saw a taxi turn around & drive out again, apparently with only the driver aboard. I phoned the taxi company to ask if that was my taxi & was told that no it wasn't, it was doing another pick up. 6.40am came & went so I phoned again to check on my pick up, emphasising that I had to make the train & got assurances that a taxi was on its way. At about 6.55am my taxi arrived & the driver was surprised when I told her my destination - the train station for the early train - because she didn't think we would make it. But she knew all the shortcuts & how to avoid traffic lights & by breaking all speed limits got me to the station with only about 1 minute to spare! She, the driver, was great & hadn't even had time to put the meter on! So, I don't trust this taxi business to be reliable & deliver on their service promise, & would not use them again.
