I booked a doctor to visit at home, but I was told there were no doctors available for home visits and had to wait for a video call that never happened. claimed to have sent an e-script and abruptly ended the call. I waited about two hours, which felt endless given the severity of my pain. A temperature and pulse check wasn’t possible over the phone, and there was no option for a home visit that night. It seemed like the priority was money rather than care, and hanging up on a patient is unacceptable. I’m considering reporting her to the HCCC. I’ve seen several reviews with similar concerns, and it’s disheartening to feel that patient care is being overlooked.

I was extremely surprised at how fast the dr phoned, and just the overall ease of the process…… (for a government service, even more surprised………)

I may have got lucky with how fast I got a phone call, but regardless I highly recommend giving this a try at least once.

When it's time for the telephone appointments, they will send you a message saying they are ready for your appointment and then send another one a second later to say that you missed it, I had to make an appointment 4 times because they kept doing that and had to write in the description to please not cancel on me. I'm thinking they get paid for every appointment they pick up, even if the cancel a few seconds later without talking to anyone.

Wait times are insane. My wife submitted a request at the same time and had a call in 10 minutes. This is day 2 for me and still waiting

Terrible service just set out to burn and churn sick people as quickly as possible to drain medicare. Do not stay on the phone longer than 3 minutes and hang up for the next customer before I can even ask for a medical certificate. Tried to organise call back but keep getting a msg saying I've missed the appointment despite not getting a call or msg prior.

Only waited about 10 minutes for a quick and easy consult over the phone and got my medical certificate. Certificate instantly came through and could be easily downloaded or forwarded. The consult was also bulk billed so there was no cost.

Waited 6 hours then got told no doctor could visit, too busy. Then they phone called a antibiotic script which I told them I was too sick ho go to chemist and had nobody to do it for me. Their reply sorry we are too busy. No wonder people ring ambulances. After hours doctors are useless.

 Follow-up  · Improvements involve not ignoring bulk billing patients in favour of paying patients. I waited for help and got none. I was dangerously ill. It took 4-5 weeks to recover and my heart is weaker now. I considered calling ambulance but I fear hospitals. Too many people go in and don't come out these days

Scam, they say ring in an hour after an hour or several you get a call and it then send a you a message saying no doctored are available in your area - be warned giving your details to this scammer.

blood tests was not a service that was offered by 13sick. I asked what services were in fact offered and how I could get a home pathology test arranged and he had no ide and just the service was for "medications". What?! This sounds like a scam to me!

I have had a terrible experience with a 13 sick doctor He had a terrible bedside manner didn’t tell me what was wrong or what was causing my vertigo just prescribed two drug drugs and I told him I was allergic to both of them and he shrugged his shoulders and said if the pharmacist can’t change them then you’ll have to ring another doctor tomorrow… Read more

I explained that this has happened to me before and the pharmacist won’t be able to change it and he didn’t care. I am in agony and bedridden and I had to call and wait again the following day to get an alternative prescription and the female doctor I spoke to who didn’t speak. English properly talked over the top of me and said I’m not going to do anything for you go to Emergency.

choosing this service in the first place). Discourse entered about this only being an emergency service despite that not being clearly stated on the website, and many different non-emergency options being offered as reasons for booking. To their credit the doctor was friendly and consulted for a reasonable amount of time, however did ignore part of my reason for booking (despite it all being moot in the end anyway). By their own admission they rarely give referrals and scripts, and although the reasoning for this was sound it needs to be more clearly stated on the website what they will and won’t offer patients and/or have some sort of checklist or review process prior to the appt going through to ensure the service is right for patients, and if not, that they’re being directed to the relevant ones so as not to waste both their own time and that of the doctors’. My point stands not to bother with this group. Wasted an entire night and some hours I could’ve been sleeping, but at least it wasn’t one I ended up out of pocket for. They must be making bank on the government’s dime, though!

Booked it for my husband at 6 pm then at 7 pm they rang me said they were trying to ring my husband but no answer but they weren't ringing my husband they were ringing me and I was only down as alternative number they were very rude and abrupt. waited three hours to be told no Dr was not available and that was only when I sent the message . They never sent message to notify of the cancellation

Never received any notification from the service as to when a doctor would be available. I waited from around 7pm and I suddenly received call just before midnight with the rudest speaking doctor who Made the comment "so what do you want me to do about it" The previous time I was told that there was no doctor available after waisting four hours… Read more

waiting. They probably use the service just to scam Medicare even if they don’t see you. I will be in contact with Medicare to make sure that doctor doesn’t get paid the whole conversation was just had me stupefied making me feel like I was some nutter expecting any serious service from them.

Extremely Rude doctor. Waited 160 minutes to get a lecture. I just was concerned about coming off medication abruptly because it is something I haven’t taken before. 3 times he told me this is an after hours Telehealth service. Drain my Medicare, resentful against your own job then don’t let me through the line. Will never call again

100% waste of time. Don't waste your time, just go to the hospital or Urgent care clinic at least after waiting there for 3 hours you might actually get some help. Seriously government... why even bother? If I could give 0 stars, I would

Absolutely a terrible service, the doctor was nothing but nasty towards be severely autistic 5 year old child, tried telling my son doesn’t have parainfluenza even though it was confirmed with a mouth swab at a hospital. I just needed redipred to help calm his lungs and instead got dismissed & called a liar. As a mother I trusted this service to help me. Terrible service.

haven't got a call yet and they told me it could be 3- 4 0r. Even five in the morning, I didn't get a text I anything about this, like I said I had to call them back, what an embarrassment this country has become, now I have to call an ambulance as I didn't want to call them as we all no how over run they are but I am left with no choice, Thank you Jacinta and Albo.

TOO, they are one and the same company. They sent me the incorrectic scripts after spelling them out to both administration and the doctor... I also sent a photo through of the correct medications and they STILL got it wrong. I rang them back as soon as I saw inhaler on the script when what I DESPERATELY need is nebules to go in my nebuliser as I am struggling to breathe. The doctor was extremely dismissive, and told me HE is the Dr and HE knows what he is doing and that inhaler is the same as nebules.... I have been an asthmatic for 30+ years so KNEW what he was saying was incorrect... but I had no choice to trust him. All this run around left it too late to go to the after hours chemist as it was shut so I got no sleep and coughed so bad all night. Fast forward to today and I struggle to get myself in the car and go to fill scripts, only to have the pharmacist confirm exactly what I thought all along, INCORRECT SCRIPT! So, I rang them back AGAIN, sent ANOTHER PHOTO OF CORRECT MEDICATION and have been sitting in the chemist WAITING for the last hour for them to maybe get it right and send me the correct one I have been after all along. Im NOT holding my breath though. Total incompetence!!

days and symptoms seemed to be being worse again not better I thought i should get checked out. I didn't feel able to drive to Urgent Care and sit in the waiting room but also didn't want to infect anyone else there.

After trying QH virtual ED symptom checker first today - which didn't ask how long I'd had these symptoms but just said "self care" and see your Dr if symptoms get worse - and my Dr has no appointments available until mid August, I found 13SICK online.

After submitting my symptoms, usual medical centre and request for telehealth video call it said wait time was 827 minutes so I figured I'd at least get a call by late tonight which was still a lot better than my other options.

I was pleasantly amazed to then get an SMS saying the Dr was available now within 30 minutes.

Dr Jason was very thorough, friendly and reassuring and have me an escript for penicillin for suspected tonsillitis and recommended a saline nasal spray as well.

This has reinforced to me again how fortunate we are in this country to be able to access medical care when needed - whether it's our normal GP, Emergency dept for critical care or bulk billed local Urgent Care clinics and after hours Telehealth or Home consult services like 13SICK for non-critical but more urgent issues.

Booked request for appointment through app on Sunday morning. Had a txt and phonecall confirming a visit quickly, and had a doctor at the house within 2 hours. The doctor was kind, pleasant and thorough. He wrote a script and gave medical certificate. I have never used this service and can appreciate it is probably hit and miss but my experience has been excellent and I will use them again.

I rebooked again. It has now been over 7.5 hours, and still no call.

Their website promises a call within 4 hours. This is now the third attempt, and I’ve had no care, no explanation, and no accountability.

prescribed me medication that I couldn’t even take as I have adverse reactions to it (she didn’t even ask if I had any issues with medications).

All I wanted to know was if my previously prescribed migraine medication was safe to take during pregnancy. She couldn’t tell me and gave me a script for a medication I couldn’t take.

I ended up going into the hospital to get everything resolved. This was my first time using this service and I am not impressed.
