Unimpressed. I had an appointment at their Malvern clinic on Monday Feb 23 2026. After selling me a reasonably expensive physio tool (price not disclosed to me - was going to check it on my receipt), I was told they would email me my program and receipt. They didn't. prescribed to me because I don't have the program. No one responded. I can see from email tracking that no one has even opened the email.

Yesterday I ended up having to have multiple injections into my hand, which makes their program useless at this point now.

It is also illegal to not provide copies of receipts.

Great way to lose clients. I will be cancelling my second appointment.

I made an appointment via the app to be directed to my local clinic within the Holmeglen Private Hospital facility. arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early and sat until 20 minutes after my appointment time with no interaction from staff in the small waiting room, a total of 35 minutes. I was taken into a room for a consultation with “Tim” and told that the physiotherapist I had booked was on leave. I was examined for 2 minutes after explaining my concerns with my hands and Tim suggested I get an MRI of my C6/7, although suggested it’s probably better to get a referral from a specialist as it’s cheaper. Tim still wrote a referral anyway then handed me a blank referral as he had no details in the system about myself, he said he fills in now and then. On exiting, he said as a new patient it will be a fee of $165, which I paid. Then I was handed a new form for new patients to fill out and he left. I filled out the form as best I could and left it on the counter top and left as there was no assistance at the desk. A total waste of time and money and still no outcome for pain management. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this clinic. I don’t write these reviews, although I’m really disappointed.

Caolan and the team at Action Rehab Homesglen Moorabbin are brilliant. Caolan listened to my issues, gave me options, and provided me with aids to assist with my hand injuries / issues. After 3 visits no pain at night, able to now sleep all night and most importantly my golf handicap has dropped. I cannot thank him enough. I totally recommend their service and support.

Excellent Casey Action Rehab Narre Warren – I highly recommend Casey at Action Rehab Narre Warren she is professional in every aspect and an excellent physiotherapist. Her expert knowledge and caring manner got my frozen shoulder which also had bursitis and tendinitis moving freely and pain free, I cannot thank her enough. I cannot praise her enough she is wonderful at her profession.

John at Action Rehab – John has been so fantastic with me , helping me with a very painful trigger thumb which was a work injury. He is very thorough, gentle and so kind. Giving me exercises and lots of therapy work with different kinds of hand and thumb straps and other devices to assist my recovery. My thumb is almost back to normal now, thanks John ! Excellent – Jonathan at the Hawthorn clinic has provided professional and effective treatment for my rotator cuff tear. I highly recommend his services.

Don't use - full of hidden fees! – Do yourself a favour and see a family-owned Physiotherapy, that cares. Action Rehab is a large company full of ridiculously expensive hidden fees! Their terms and conditions are unfair and they will harass you with text messages. Don't bother! Go somewhere else.
