Shipping – Why have I been charged for Shipping when I am told it is free. Can't recall being asked for other information. Please explain? I am not happy. What else do you want to know?
Very little courtesy offered when items unavailable! – We ordered 3 products from this company and we were notified that two of the items were out of stock after the order was processed. We were given a refund for these leaving one item left. With postage set at $10.90, it was not viable to purchase the remaining item at $19.90. they said, "no can do". They suggested we return the item and we will be refunded. They should have shown courtesy goodwill and asked us if we wanted to receive the remaining item. By the time we send it back, postage costs will exceed the value of the item. Outraged!!
Out of stock – Tried to order by phone a day after catalogue arrived in mail told items we wanted out of stock, Duh! Phone operator most unhelpful when asked when available next. Have bought from this company before but they have lost a customer because of an inept phone operator.

also had an item that was temporarily out of stock and you listed it as "to be dispatched later". One small cheap item that needed to be delivered later was worth far less than the postage etc but that item arrived in a special mail post and I was very impressed as well as grateful. THANKYOU.
Negative reviews
false claim for product function and ability – information claims in bio for product "reduces crackle and interference" and "hear favourite AM/FM stations without annoying interference...wherever you are in your house" are completely false. Unable to even get a crackle for ABC 1233 AM - very disappointing, could find no sound at all!!!
Terrible business – Made purchase online. Stuffed me around so many times for almost 2 months. Had to continually phone them up and email them, they made so many excuses eg. "out of stock", "we don't have a courier at the moment", "we have not received the money",etc. I threatened to take legal action, and guess what, it arrived within 2 days!!! Will never do business with them again! Very poor customer service.
badly made very bad fit – Purchased by mail order ,,, purchasing process good. Purchased Adjustable Table but the wire that holds it up was way too thin for the plastic clips underneath so it just collapsed. Couldn't be bothered sending back for refund so i made some adjustments. Hopefully you will fix this problem for others.

Excellent place to shop for household items – My mum and I have both been happy customers, items are useful especially for elderly folk but also for normal day-to-day living. When mum passed this was one of her many catalogues that I actually remained with.
Satisfied – I've ordered several times online and never had any problems. The order takes some time some time to arrive but that is ok with me. All the items bought have been very helpful and I will continue to buy items from them.

Long wait for delivery – I ordered by phone on 30th May 2018 a special bath mat that was larger than most. The person who took my order and payment by credit card did waited until I asked about delivery I was told 21 days. I have ordered goods form USA,UK and Germany and never had to wait that long. Considering I live in Victoria and the Bath Mat is coming from NSW that length of time is extraordinary.

When I queried the dispatch date of the 18th Jan, I was informed that was the date the Invoice was dispatched!
After some time, I was told the item would be sent on 8th March 2018....some 2 months after ordering.
Having been an online purchaser for with many companies over the years, I asked why they could not have advised me by email that there was a stock shortage. The reply was unbelievable, "We don't do that because most of our customers are elderly and don't have email.") Really???? Today is the 16th March & still have not received my order, so back to the phone, again "Please hold". Finally spoke to someone & told them I haven't received my order and could they advise the status of same. I was told it had been dispatched on 8th Mar via Australia Post ex Sydney, but no delivery date indicated. So I asked if they could email me a tracking number. Guess what? "We don't do that because most customers are too old to receive emails." I was given a tracking number verbally. The service is poor, the attitude is despicable, the age discrimination is insulting and unforgivable. I only hope the product is alright if & when I receive it.
Not worth the stress! – My initial purchase from this company turned out to be faulty and was damaged. They then didn't reimburse me for the two lots of postage, only the product. remote, glasses etc. that sits on the arm of your lounge and can also hold a coffee cup. It was absolute rubbish and the bottom seam had not been sealed thereby everything that was put in the pockets fell to the floor. This time I was able to obtain a Reply Paid number so only had to pay for the envelope but my reimbursement did not include the postage I had been charged in the first place. I phoned them and in conversation with the pleasant young man who took my call he said a lot depends on just which staff member you get as some of them are good and others are hopeless! I have now secured the amount charged for postage of the item to me and will NEVER purchase another item from this company. Time is too precious to waste it on waiting on the telephone and being stressed.
Perfect service very happy customer – I ordered on line last week, then realised the top my not be big enough so rang and changed size. Gadgets that work well. Clothes that fit – Phone purchase. Helpful staff. Delivery within time quoted. Several orders made over time. Never any accounts problem. On these occasions the delivery has been on time and the products performed according to the claims made.
Avoid At All Costs – In mid 2017 I purchased a toilet assistance frame after surgery. It is now 2018 and despite the money being taken from my credit card in June 2017, no item was ever sent. I've made numerous attempts to phone and email them, but with no success. After six months I've given up and written the money off.
Dissapointed with service – Made an order online two days ago ,they have received payment for the order and i am yet to be advised that they received the order and when it will be dispatched . I made the mistake of going back to them as i had simiiar treatment with a previous order . I tried to contact them by phone and was put on hold for 25 minutes so i had to hang up , the next call rang out unanswered so what i am saying is BUYER BEWARE !!
Orders incomplete & really bad delivery times – I ordered some items online (mid-Oct 2017) & received half the order about 2.5 weeks later. I emailed them after 4 weeks asking about the balance of the order which had not arrived. They responded after a couple of days assuring me it was in the mail. 2 weeks later the goods arrived. I wonder what would have happened if I didn't follow up? Products are of poor quality. A similar thing happened earlier this year...am I just unlucky?

Try calling them about it to sort it out. After you get through to them after what was probably an eternity waiting, they are unable to help you, or better yet they state it hasn't been packed yet. It's been one month since the order was placed and it has only just been packed?
Still waiting on that refund you promised.
So we have false and misleading claims and advertisement. Will definitely be contacting the ACCC if I don't hear back from the company for a resolution and refund.
Vulnerable people in our society require these aids to assist them in everyday life. It is wrong that companies like this who promise to offer products to assist in everyday life, in a timely manner can not keep their promises.

AWFUL LONG WAIT BY PHONE – Purchased by phone - found one of the product an IMITATION of the one advertised by its true supplier on TV, returned the item and still awaiting confirmation of my refund. Called three times and took so much time waiting for response.
No confidence in this organisation – Goods ordered by phone. Gave bankcard details and Seniors card details (a worry) promise 21 days delivery 2 months later no goods. Impossible to contact Finally a phone call answered promise another 21 days and no goods have arrived. Yvonne

a little concerned, but for me, there were no issues with the level of service provided and the quality of the product, in fact it exceeded my expectations. I will be happy to use this company again and to recommend their products to others.
February 5th 2018 Update: The most comfortable sandals ever
Extremely happy with Stretch Woven Sandals (multicolour), so comfortable you never want to take them off! Originally ordered them for my mum who has bunions, I tried them and had to get some, ordered a pair for my sister as well! Very pleased with prompt delivery and getting regular updates of when my parcel would arrive. Excellent company to deal with, makes shopping a pleasure.

happened I emailed (phoning is useless) that I'd never use them again. But as I needed quite a few things for my clients I gave them one more chance not happening again.
You know what bothers me is they took the complete total from my account as soon as my order went in, pretty quick when it comes to that :(
Oh and they didn't even send the freebie they put on the order, jeeze why say that you are sending a free cook book and don't even have that.

I made a purchase for a lady with MS and I had to wait 2 months to find out the pants are no longer available. Would have been nice to be notified rather than me having to keep trying to find out why we did not have them.
I contacted them later after I came back from holidays I went to work and the lady said she finally had received the items. All though she can not wear them as the weather is now not cold enough. In my last review I was upset because i had no idea if I was ripped off and since that last review we did eventually receive the item and lady was happy. I would not recommend this company as this caused the client a lot of stress.

On June 23 2017, 23 DAYS LATER, I finally got a reply, from Aid For Daily Living, saying that my ORDER WAS NOW BEING PACKED FOR SHIPPING. AND MAY TAKE ANOTHER 10-21 Days for Arriving. I'm glad I didn't order a set of crutches for a broken leg, the leg may have healed by the time the crutches arrive. To anyone reading this Buyers Beware, place your Purchases Directly with China. You'll find them a lot more honest and reliable.

June 5th 2017 Update: Stay Well Clear Of This Company
On the 8th of May I purchase on line for a lady just out of hospital an Aid for putting on socks and stockings and a special pen that made it easier to hold a pen. As of the time of writing 5th June still nothing. The lady is now back to health and returned to work and now has no use for the items.
Despite many phone calls only to be told because they are moving warehouse there was SLIGHT DELAY each time. Last call I said to cancel the order and refund the money. What was there answer?
"We can't do that, you will have to wait until it arrives, then post it back to us to get a refund" that was over a week ago, still no parcel. What a con merchant company this is.
