some very disappointing results, I decided to give Bailey Nelson Frankston a try. What a difference!

Firstly, Bianca deserves a special mention. Incredibly knowledgeable, meticulous and with the patience of a saint! I had endless questions about the different lenses, frame styles and what would actually work best for my needs. There were numerous emails and several visits, yet nothing was ever too much trouble. And her fabulously dry sense of humour was an added bonus. She had me quietly smirking to myself on more than one occasion!

The other thing that really impressed me was their range of frames. Finally, something other than the same old stock-standard styles you see everywhere! Some of their designs, particularly the sunglasses, could easily sit alongside expensive designer classics. They're distinctive without being so outrageous that you'd never wear them, and many of the sunglass frames can also be fitted with clear prescription lenses.

Sofia, the optometrist, was equally impressive. Her examination was exceptionally thorough, and she genuinely listened to my concerns about previous prescriptions. I've learnt the hard way that getting multifocals right involves far more than a basic eye test. The lens design, progression and individual visual requirements are so important, and I really appreciated the care taken with every detail.

What I also loved was that there was absolutely no pressure to purchase. I was encouraged to take my time, ask questions and make sure I was happy with my choices. In fact, I returned to try another frame I wasn't quite sure about and ended up buying both! So much for narrowing down my options!

I've now ended up with three beautiful pairs of glasses, and I'm delighted.

My partner accompanied me on a couple of visits and was equally impressed. He's planning to book in himself, and I'm now giving multifocal contact lenses another go after years of unsuccessful attempts elsewhere.

It's refreshing to find a business where the staff genuinely care about getting things right rather than simply making a sale.

11th October. Well, that's past and today is 15th October and they finally arrived. Contacted JD Sports and they told me the website gave me false information. Well why advertise and charge for Express postage if you can't deliver. Advertised normal free postage for similar delivery times. I won't buy from these amateurs again Lesson learnt. Do yourselves a favour and stay away, buy elsewhere.
