and outages. Their platform frequently failed, and when problems occurred, customer support was practically non-existent. Do not expect real support — the experience was disastrous and incredibly frustrating.

After two years of usage, Airwallex suddenly closed our account without providing any clear reason. No proper explanation, no accountability, no respect for the customer.

The way this was handled felt discriminatory and deeply unprofessional. Airwallex shows zero regard for its customers and operates however it pleases, with no transparency.

Honestly, I struggle to understand how a company with this level of service and conduct is allowed to operate in Australia. I would strongly advise businesses to think very carefully before trusting Airwallex with their payments.

IF you have a platform that handles finance transactions and being the criticality it is and doesn't offer customer support via call centre or via chat agents, it reflects on a dodge organisation that doesn't have answers. I had my incoming funds stranded and the agents will respond to email at their own pace. Wonder how it got financial approval. If you need finance application with a good support, definitely airwallex is not for you.

My company was an AirWallex customer for 3 years. Suddenly they froze the account with no reason and the funds within the account vanished. This took place over 2 months ago, it was only $1,200 however just be wary AirWallex are essentially scammers. No communication or ackowledgement of their actions just removing funds from my account and closing it down.

Holding onto a large transaction for a week even after I explained what it’s for, absolutely insanity not happy at all, currently can’t pay payroll because of these guys.

It honestly feels more like a Ponzi scheme than a legitimate business.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck — it’s a duck. This place is shady and dangerous. Don’t risk your money. Once you’re in, getting it out is a battle they seem determined to make you lose.

Even worse – they withheld $363 of my money after a dispute I never approved. I’ve provided all the necessary evidence, but still nothing. No acknowledgment. No refund. No accountability.

If you value transparency, customer service, or basic trust in a company not to lose or withhold your money, I strongly advise avoiding Airwallex. Even PayPal – with all its flaws – has more reliable dispute handling than this.

I will be reporting them to financial regulators, ombudsmen, and warning others publicly.

Despite our track record of 0% disputes or chargebacks and 100% customer satisfaction, we have been left without access to our funds.

To add further complexity, our legal advisor has confirmed that we have not breached any part of the AirWallex Terms and Conditions.

As a result, we have had to engage legal counsel and incur additional expenses.

We kindly request prompt resolution and release of our funds from AirWallex.

finally received a response asking me to verify my identity. I did so immediately. Almost 48 hours later, I am yet to receive a response. I have sent numerous email since requesting assistance. I am still yet to hear back.

As there is no contact number, I have also requested that someone calls me. Again, no reply.

I like it, easy to use when reconciling transactions. I deducted a star as I find it a bit frustrating having to convert an HEIC file to a pdf or jpg when I airdrop a photo of a receipt from my iphone to mac, but thankfully few transactions require a receipt.

Airwallex has allowed us to run our ecommerce business more seamlessly. Dealing with multi-currencies can be complex, but their solution has provided us with good FX rates and the ability to simplify our banking across the world.
