1000w twin motor akez scooter – For the money these are great scooters and after 12mnths still no issues at all. Very happy with mine and am surprised with other review. I've owned lots of brands and all have pros n cons. For under 1000 new delivered for twin 1000w is a bargain. Maintain your scooter and you'll have loads of fun . Cheers Richie

Specs are fiction – Quoted range is 50 km,real range 113kg rider at 22km/h is under 23 kms....yep UNDER 23 kms range. The quoted top speed and range is acheivable with only the lightest rider on flat or downhill. The scooter i have has several quality issues that started showing within 16 km of footpath riding including deck mounting,steering head and brake issue. The scooter cannot turn full lock right because of the main wiring harness getting in the way- this is a fault that cannot be rectified due to wiring routing,the front brakes were engaging on partial right turns without lever operation and subsequently the brake cable had to be rerouted to ensure the brake did not engage when turning right,the battery degrades so quickly it is unbelievable i have noticed a 15% drop in capacity within 60 km of ownership. The distributor..T&R SPORTS/ BIKESCOOTER HUB is a nightmare to deal with,refuses to inspect,openly misleads the customer and has a poor knowledge of consumer law so good luck getting warranty repairs. Spend the extra money to get a better brand these are cheap garbage and will not last.
