Junk product – Purchased this 6 months ago, and finally got it out of the box today. Seized up in the first 5 minutes. Makes a grinding sound of the number "1" setting. Totally disappointed. manufacturer's 1300 number and was offered a replacement. Excellent service! I have used the replacement once - so far so good. Will leave the rating as one star for the time being.

A Disasta Machine – Amazing pasta machine at first, had all the 'Oohs' and 'Aahs'. Unfortunately on the second use the metal at the bottom bent and ate up all the precious pasta. Well atleast it worked on the first go. Now back to the rolling pin. Yikes! Show details
Brilliant saves so much time – I bought one for me and two for my daughter in law, I was so impressed with it. Since moving house I have had a slight problem getting it to stay attached to my graduated bench top. That will be remedied with the new kitchen. Show details
Terrible. Did not even last the first use – The hand crank graunched the inside where it was supposed to lock in. The the roller mechanism jammed. Made it through 1.5 batches of pasta on the first use. Straight to the bin Show details
Pretty Good to start with, then – I bought this during lockdown and the first couple of times I used it, the pasta came out well. It did get stuck to the rollers and the plastic combs but the instructions showed how to get the combs out and how to brush off the "dried" pasta mix. pieces on the fettuccine cutter and one is splitting on the spaghetti cutter. When I enquired on the help line about getting replacement combs I was advised they do not come separately - you have to buy the whole roller/cutter piece for $10.00 plus post and handling. This would most probably work out to the same or more of the cost of the machine in the first place. So I am off to do some research to see if all machines have these plastic combs that cannot be replaced. Has anyone else had the same problem?
Will not recommended this product – No good quality. Bought it during lockdown and now it has 2 problems. Number 1setting could not roll and spaghetti cutting function could not work because it doesn't allow the dough through. Very disappointed customer. Show details
Excellent machine for price – I brought this machine for $20 to give pasta making a go. It has been excellent so far. I have read that people weren’t impressed with the instructions but I haven’t actually read them, it is pretty straight forward and I looked at a you tube video so I got an idea of the dough consistency. Has made even lasagne and the fettuccine is excellent too. To get a pasta dried included for $20 is a bargain. Show details
Good Machine & Good Value – Seems to be a well made unit. S/steel is not flimsy and the options for dough thickness and also pasta types(spaghetti, fettucine etc) are all good. I have no complaints at all. And the price is at least half of what the 'elssewhere' options to buy are. Show details
