Ideal for push bike and motorcycle. Works for car & caravan – I use this for my motorcycle which often needs just another 5 psi before a ride without having to set up my air compressor. I take it with me on a tour and check my tyres each day before heading off. I just crossed Australia and used it for my car and caravan tyres, though it’s a bit slower for them, but never overheated. Didn’t need a recharge in two months. Gives the exact same pressure readings as two different tyre pressure readers. Love it & only AU$40.

Purchased in at ALDI for $40.

Not very good – I have had this since October 22 and have used it around 3 times but now it doesn't work. The light comes on and the motor runs but doesn't produce any air. I've tried to sort it out online but they no longer sell it. I can't return it to store as it was bought online and is not showing up on previous purchases so it looks like I'm down the 20 or so quid that it cost. Even aldis own app is pretty useless as there is nowhere to log in, you have to go through their website. It's all a lot of faff for a supermarket, not what I would consider easy shopping. I don't think I would buy other ferrex activ tools as they seem to be pretty low quality but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Purchased in for $17.99.

Aldi Ferrex air pump - great for small tyres – This will probably be my shortest review for an obvious product. Aldi cordless (bike) air pump. The first reason to buy one was that I struggled to pump an increasing amount of small tyres in my household. Kids push bikes, my mountain bike and escooter. Manual pumps are great, but when the local petrol station isn’t happy for you to pump small tyres there and pumping all of them with the manual pump feels like a proper gym workout I decided to buy a small compressor. I already had a compressor for my 4wd, but needed something smaller and more portable. Because Aldi sells their air pump as skin only (no battery). I never considered buying a pump from them. However, recently, I purchased an electric lawn mower from them and can re-use the mower's battery with an air pump. There are no disadvantages of their pump if used for the purposes intended. However, if you buy it to top up your car or 4wd tyres I’d like to make it clear - it is not designed for that. Motorbike’s tyre is the biggest pumping object I’d use it for. What is great?: The price. It is relatively cheap. The warranty - 5 years. Size and lightness. It is easy to operate too. Built in an automated air pressure indicator. E.g. Not only can you see the pressure as you pump, but you can set the target pressure and it will stop when it reaches the setting. Don’t have to have a dedicated battery. Can re-use Aldi’s cordless Exfinity range of appliances battery. If you’re on the market to buy one I’d not hesitate to recommend this one for you after using it extensively for the last couple of weeks.
