Don't waste your time or money – Used for less than 5 minutes cutting 10mm soft pine & plywood timber when it stopped working. Absolute rubbish - will return for a refund. Lesson learnt "you get what you pay for"
Purchased in at ALDI.
Failed after 4 cuts – I made 4 cuts into 45 X 90 timber wall studs and it seized up and stopped working.
Good tool,not reliable.After sales service efficient – I have bought one two of these saws within the last year., as I do a lot of garden maintenace on my block. One refused to work after a few months,replaced quickly by Action Spares ,Aldi's repair agents, This one lasted just over a month,broke,same problem,trigger switch seems faulty,in both. Back onto Action Spares,who now say there are no farther replacements,and I should take it back to Aldi for a refund,not really a good outcome.
What is the point of offering a five year warranty,when there are no replacement tools,after a year,another marketing ploy to catch us gullible customers. John
